Vol 2 Ch 86.1

“Oh, that’s right. Milk.”
Inseop shouted as he was checking the paper he had written his shopping list on. He had just passed the corner where milk was displayed.
“I’ll come back. Please wait.”
At Inseop’s words, Lee Wooyeon laughed and said, “Let’s go together.”
“The cart is heavy. Anyway, it’s just around the corner.”
Perhaps because it was the weekend, the usually empty supermarket was crowded.
“Then I’ll wait here.”
Inseop nodded his head and quickly walked to where the milk was displayed. He found the product he usually drank, checked the expiration date, and picked it up.
“Done.”
Inseop walked quickly holding a large bottle of milk. He was just about to turn the corner of the display stand.
“Hey.”
At the sound of Korean coming from somewhere, Inseop unconsciously flinched. His heart was pounding.
“Are you by any chance Lee Wooyeon?”
Two women approached Lee Wooyeon and asked cautiously. Lee Wooyeon, wearing sunglasses, was choosing a product on the shelf without even pretending to listen.
“Huh? Isn’t it?”
“That’s right. They look exactly the same. Ask again.”
This time the woman tapped Lee Wooyeon on the shoulder. Only then did Lee Wooyeon turn his head.
“Are you by any chance Lee Wooyeon?”
[I have no idea who you are talking about.]
Lee Wooyeon smiled and answered in English.
“What. Did you hear that voice?”
“Amazing, awesome.”
“What if it’s not Lee Wooyeon? When will I ever talk to a man like that in my life?”
The two women squealed and glanced at Lee Wooyeon. Lee Wooyeon put his snacks in the cart and leisurely disappeared to the next corner.
“Maybe he’s mixed race? I should have looked at his face more closely.”
“Well, why would Lee Wooyeon be in a place like this? Where on earth has he gone? I don’t enjoy watching dramas and movies without Lee Wooyeon.”
“What I’m saying is, a leading actor with that kind of face and that level of acting was the one and only Lee Wooyeon.”
“What really happened because of Chae Yeonseo? A precious actor has disappeared. Even thinking about it again makes me irritated.”
“It’s a huge loss for our country’s entertainment industry. Did you see the article that appeared the other day?”
The chattering voices became increasingly distant. Inseop entered the corner only after making sure that the women had completely disappeared. Lee Wooyeon was nowhere to be seen. The same thing happened at the next corner.
“Uh….”
He couldn’t even call Lee Wooyeon’s name out of fear that the women from earlier would hear it. Inseop looked around with an urgent look on his face. At that time, something cold suddenly touched Inseop’s cheek.
“……!”
When Inseop turned around in surprise, Lee Wooyeon waved a beer can.
“Ah oh….”
Lee Wooyeon took the milk from Inseop’s hand, put it in the cart, and asked Inseop whether he got everything. Inseop nodded his head wordlessly.
“Shall we go?”
Inseop nodded his head once again.
Lee Wooyeon asked Inseop while loading the shopping items into the car.
“Shall we stop by an ice cream shop on the way?”
It was enough to have employees do the grocery shopping. However, Inseop said that he would try not to be dependent on Lee Wooyeon’s relatives as much as possible, and that he would do things like grocery shopping himself.
Lee Wooyeon was bothered at first, but he didn’t say much because he liked the idea of going for a drive or stopping somewhere briefly to spend time after shopping.
“Ice cream?”
“The place we went to eat last time.”
Although he hated sweet foods like ice cream, he often stopped by because he liked the sight of Inseop worrying in front of the ice cream display stand with his eyes shining like a puppy.
Inseop quietly nodded his head.
As he left the parking lot, Wooyeon turned on the radio. A song from a female singer who recently died from a d**g overdose was played. It was Inseop’s favorite song. He turned up the volume. Inseop, who normally would have said something about the song, looked out his window with his mouth shut.
“What should we have for dinner tonight?”
In the evening, all the employees went out of the house. Preparing dinner was the responsibility of two people.
In response to Lee Wooyeon’s question, Inseop looked blankly out the window.
“Mr. Inseop.”
“Oh, yes. Sorry. I was thinking about something else for a moment. What did you say?”
“Dinner. Is there anything you want to eat?”
“Anything is fine.”
Lee Wooyeon frowned at Inseop’s insincere answer. He stopped his car on the side of the road.
“What’s the matter?”
Lee Wooyeon asked. Inseop blinked and answered, “It’s nothing.”
“We decided to be honest.”
It was a promise between two people.
Respect each other’s privacy, but answer questions honestly.
Inseop hesitated for a moment and then answered, “I don’t feel well.” Lee Wooyeon’s large hand touched Inseop’s forehead.
“You have a little fever.”
The hand that covered his entire forehead stayed for a long time and then moved away.
“…It was okay before.”
Lee Wooyeon took the wheel. He started the car again and started going back the way he came.
“Where are you going?”
“The hospital.”
“It’s okay. I’m just a little tired.”
“You decided to listen to me when you were sick.”
This too was a promise.
When you are sick, follow Lee Wooyeon’s words no matter what.
Inseop nodded his head. Lee Wooyeon lightly touched Inseop’s cheek.
“Close your eyes for a moment and sleep,” he said.
Inseop quietly closed his eyes.
“Your fever is a little higher than before.”
After checking the thermometer, Lee Wooyeon spoke with a stern expression on his face. Inseop apologized.
“If you’re sorry, you should get better quickly.”
Lee Wooyeon covered Inseop’s forehead with a w** towel. The diagnosis he received at the hospital was a mild cold. The doctor added that he would feel better after taking the medicine and sleeping well for a day.
When the seasons changed, Inseop caught a cold. It was one of the things he learned while living together. Inseop became especially foolish when he was sick. Although it took a lot of work, Lee Wooyeon willingly took care of Inseop.
“…I’m sorry for feeling sick so often.”
“I’m sick too, aren’t I?”
“Are you unwell?”
At that, Inseop was so surprised that he tried to get up. Lee Wooyeon put Inseop back on his back, patted his head, and smiled, saying, “Here.”
“Since Inseop lives with me like this, it’s like taking care of the sick for the rest of my life.”
Lee Wooyeon adjusted the sheet and covered him, brought a chair, and sat down next to Inseop’s bed.
“Would you like me to read a book to you?”
Inseop slightly shook his head. Lee Wooyeon asked if he wanted to sleep then. Inseop answered “yes” and closed his eyes.
Lee Wooyeon quietly held his breath as he looked at the shape of the lower and upper eyelashes interlocking. His heated cheeks flushed like ripe peaches.
Every time he found himself lusting after a sick person, Lee Wooyeon would realize what a shameless b**t**d he was.
Not long after, Inseop’s breathing dispersed evenly. Lee Wooyeon quietly wiped his face.
He doesn’t need to be pretty even with a sick face.
After Lee Wooyeon changed the w** towel, he brought the book he had been reading yesterday and sat down on the chair again.
“…What time is it now?”
Inseop asked, closing his eyes, which were blurry due to the medicine.
“Well, it’s past 8 o’clock.”
It was already dark outside the window. Lee Wooyeon placed his palm on Inseop’s forehead. He heard a murmur of relief, “The fever has gone down.”
“Would you like something to eat?”
“I have no idea.”
“You have to take the medicine even if you don’t want to. It’s just a little bit.”
Lee Wooyeon closed the book he was reading and stood up. Inseop grabbed the hem of his clothes. Lee Wooyeon looked back with puzzled eyes.
“…I want to go down together.”
It was like this.
Lee Wooyeon was very unhappy with Inseop’s foolish behavior. He wrapped a sheet around Inseop and held him in his arms.
“Hug my neck so you don’t fall off.”
Inseop did as he was told and wrapped his arms around Lee Wooyeon’s neck. Inseop was clinging to Lee Wooyeon calmly until they went downstairs.
Lee Wooyeon put Inseop down on the sofa.
“Wait quietly here.”
Lee Wooyeon went to the kitchen and made soup and tea. Inseop finished half the bowl of soup and shook his head, saying he couldn’t eat it.
“Then have some tea.”
“…I don’t feel well.”
“Do you think you’re going to throw up?”
“If I eat more….”
Lee Wooyeon had no choice but to take the tray away. He hugged Inseop with the sheet and patted his back.
“Shall I take you to your parents’ house tomorrow?”
“No. I went there last week.”
Inseop smiled, closing his big eyes.
He loved the curves drawn when he smiled. It was so pretty that Wooyeon looked at it for a while and muttered to himself as if declaring his surrender.
“Then what should I do?”
He wanted to do whatever Inseop wanted.
Inseop, who was squirming in the sheets, cautiously began to say, “Can I ask you a favor?”
“Is this really okay?”
“Yes.”
Lee Wooyeon swallowed a laugh.
What Inseop requested was Lee Wooyeon’s movie. It was also his first independent film.
“I know it’s because you like me, but your tastes are really unique.”
When Lee Wooyeon picked up the remote control and pressed the play button, the movie started. Inseop, who had been squirming as if he was a little embarrassed to be watching a movie together, suddenly stared at the screen with a mesmerized expression on his face.
His eyes looked like those of a boy suffering from the fever of his first love.
Lee Wooyeon had Inseop lean on his shoulder. It wasn’t a long movie. As the ending credits rolled, Inseop finally took a deep breath.
“Was it fun?”
It was a movie that he thought was really boring even after he filmed it.
“Yes. I like it.”
Inseop smiled and answered. His complexion looked much better than before.
After leaving Korea, the two implicitly avoided talking about Lee Wooyeon’s work. They didn’t watch Lee Wooyeon’s work together or talk about his activity plans.
“How many times have you seen this movie?”
“I don’t know. I haven’t counted. I think I’ve seen it more than fifty times….”
Lee Wooyeon laughed lightly.
“You like me so much, huh?”
“….Yes, I do.”
Inseop agreed in a low voice. Then he smiled shyly and continued.
“Actually, I did the English translation of that movie line.”
“Mr. Inseop? Were you in Korea at that time?”
Lee Wooyeon asked with a hint of curiosity. Not only did it not fit the timing at all, but it was the first time he had heard of it. Inseop shook his head.
“Later, I translated and posted the lines on a fan cafe as a hobby, and Manager Kim Jeong-ah sent me an email and said she wanted to use the English script I translated. She said it was much better than what she had done. So I heard it was replaced later.”
Considering Manager Kim Jeong-ah’s eccentric personality, that made sense.
“Did you get paid?”
“No. I said I wouldn’t accept it anyway because I did it because I liked it.”
“If such an opportunity comes later, take even a small amount of money. You’re not not here to waste your precious time for free.”
Inseop nodded.
“But I still received something.”
“What did you get?”
“…the script that Lee Wooyeon used at that time.”
Inseop smiled slightly. Lee Wooyeon let out a long sigh. Inseop, who noticed his discomfort, looked even more frightened.
“Are you angry?”
Lee Wooyeon said no, then changed his words again.
“Yeah, a little.”
“I’m sorry. I….”
My next words were interrupted by a sudden kiss on his lips. Lee Wooyeon lightly bit on Inseop’s lips as if caressing him and then let go. Their lips gently pressed together with a feverish heat and then parted.
“Sometimes I get angry because you act so pretty.”
The tip of Lee Wooyeon’s nose touched Inseop’s nose. He changed the angle so their lips overlapped again. The kiss, which started out gently at first, gradually deepened and eventually Inseop’s body fell on the sofa.
“Ha….”
As Inseop took a deep breath, Lee Wooyeon, who added his weight above him, smiled faintly.
“How good is it?”
“Yes?”
“How good am I?”
While asking that question, Lee Wooyeon thought that he had gone as far as he could. He was honestly curious about this. There were no more childish words to think of.
“Put away those words like ‘As much as the earth and sky’.”
“……!”
Inseop was a little startled as he was about to answer that question. Lee Wooyeon deliberately pressed Inseop’s chest heavily and demanded an answer quickly.
Inseop thought for a moment and then opened his mouth.
“You might feel bad about this….”
Lee Wooyeon said, “Hmm,” and smiled. He bobbed his head as if asking him to do something.
“My mother always told me that my biological parents had their own reasons, too. Never hate them. She said that since she abandoned the child she had for ten months and never saw him again, she got all the punishment she could get for it. “
These were the words of a parent who raised Choi Inseop.
“I used to think that too, but recently I’ve changed my mind, and I just… I just want them to forget about me, because it’s not fair to keep living in the past when I’m doing so well.”
There was pure goodness in his black eyes. Even if he dies, he won’t have it. Lee Wooyeon said, “I see,” and shook his head.
“…But I hope Lee Wooyeon doesn’t do that.”
“……?”
“Just in case, if you break up with me, I hope you don’t forget me. I definitely don’t want Lee Wooyeon to be unhappy, but it’s just… it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t….”
Inseop was saying that he will not forget Lee Wooyeon now and in the future. Lee Wooyeon let out a short breath. Emptiness. A place he thought was empty was filled with an incredible sense of fullness. His breath caught.
“Do you think I’ll break up with you?”
Lee Wooyeon asked in a low voice. Inseop shook his head slightly.
“That was the opportunity of a lifetime for Mr. Inseop.”
Lee Wooyeon’s lips lightly bit Inseop’s lips and then let go and continued speaking.
“…You decided it, so there’s no use regretting it later.”
Lee Wooyeon knew. In the future, the day will never come when he will say that he wanted to break up with his mouth.
Inseop raised his arm and hugged Lee Wooyeon’s neck.
“…I have absolutely no regrets. I think it was a really good decision.”
Lee Wooyeon burst out laughing at the small whisper in his ear.
He lay on the sofa, kissed him, talked nonsense, and watched two movies together. While watching the last movie, Inseop dreamily mumbled with sleepy eyes that he would like to study more someday and translate all of Wooyeon’s works. Lee Wooyeon didn’t respond and just caressed Inseop’s head.
It was a week later that Inseop received a call from CEO Kim.
