Chapter Index

[Ha ha ha ha ha. Do you remember Uncle Owen’s face back then? It was really awesome.]

    [It was great!]

The twins burst out laughing and tapped Inseop on the shoulder.

    [Yes, it was fun.]

The meal ended early and the five men sat around and started drinking beer. It was a negative effect of home drama. The actors have too many lines.

Lee Wooyeon sat in a corner away from Inseop and drank. When he arrived with the beer, his three younger brothers had already surrounded Inseop.

[Then when will the work here end? What about school?]

[I’m not sure yet. Still, it’s so nice to come here and see your faces.]

Inseop, who had not even drunk half a can of beer, was flushed and muttered. As soon as a little alcohol was added, the cuteness increased and the laughter increased. He seemed unable to tell whether he spoke English or Korean.

    “Stop drinking.”

Lee Wooyeon snatched the beer from Inseop’s hand. Inseop rolled his eyes and nodded his head.

[How did you two become friends?]

Nathan asked, pointing alternately at Wooyeon and his older brother.

“Lee Wooyeon and I? How did we become friends?”

Taking advantage of Inseop’s lost thought, Lee Wooyeon answered.

“When I was in trouble at work, I received help from Inseop several times.”

“My brother, he’s good, right? Angel, angel.”

Nathan, who was very drunk, shouted “Angel” and grabbed Inseop’s face with both hands and shook it back and forth. It was like an attitude towards his youngest brother, not his older brother. It was the same for Logan.

“Stop it. You can’t do that in front of other people.”

Aaron scolded his younger brother in a stern manner. Unlike the playful twins, the younger one was calm and cool-headed. He looked like an older brother. Nathan, who was pointed out, immediately apologized.

[I’m sorry, Peter. I didn’t mean to make you feel bad.]

[Are you okay? You’ve never been in a bad mood.]

Nathan smiled and put his arm around Inseop’s shoulder. Lee Wooyeon crushed the empty beer can, threw it in the trash can, and stood up.

“Would you like to drink more?”

    “Yes!”

Seeing Logan answering excitedly, Lee Wooyeon laughed and cursed, calling him a clueless idiot.

As he was opening the refrigerator door where he stored the alcohol, he heard a presence behind him. When he looked back, Aaron was standing there.

    “Is there anything you need?”

[Can we talk for a moment?]

Lee Wooyeon said, “Hmm,” and smiled.

The twins spoke in poor Korean at first, but later started babbling openly in English. However, Aaron did what Inseop told him to do and only spoke in Korean. He spoke to him in English.

    [Please speak.]

Lee Wooyeon answered with his arms crossed. Although Aaron seemed polite at first glance, he knew that he had been hostile towards me throughout the meal.

    [Do you know James Gordon?]

    Lee Wooyeon shook hiw head.

[He was a great football player, but he got caught in a fight during a game and one of his corneas was completely peeled off. At that time he retired. He’s my friend’s cousin. That day, my friend and I also went to the stadium to play.]

“I see,” Lee Wooyeon said in an unimpressed manner. The sports career seemed wide but it was narrow. It wasn’t strange if at least one person who knew him came out. He was just a little unlucky that it was Inseop’s younger brother. No, actually it didn’t matter. Lee Wooyeon had no intention of impressing Choi Inseop’s younger brothers.

    [Does Peter know that too?]

[Well. I’m a co-worker, so does he really need to know that?]

    [Are you two co-workers?]

    [I hope not?]

When Lee Wooyeon responded with a question, Aaron’s expression hardened as if he was a little dumbfounded. He didn’t want to say anything that would hurt his older brother in the slightest.

He was a human being with a naturally good nature. The same was true for Aaron and his twin brother. He resembled Choi Inseop enough to know that he was Choi Inseop’s younger brother even without saying a few words.

A miserable, twisted desire he had forgotten raised in his head.

What would his face look like if he knew that his brother, whom he love so much, was crying under him every night, begging him to f**k him more? Even then, could he be called an angel?

Lee Wooyeon slowly lowered his eyes and smiled. The moment he was about to open his mouth, Inseop came into the kitchen.

“You said you were going to the bathroom, why are you here? It’s over there, the bathroom.”

Inseop kindly pointed the direction to his younger brother. Aaron smiled silently, ruffled his brother’s hair, and then went out into the hallway.

“You didn’t come so I came to look for you.”

Lee Wooyeon gave Inseop his beer that had been placed on the table.

“Is this enough? If you need anything else, tell me now. I’ll get it out for you.”

“…Would you like to come in?”

“Yes. Let them drink in moderation, Mr. Inseop, don’t drink any more. You’re still a little drunk.”

Lee Wooyeon rubbed Inseop’s cheek with the back of his hand and lowered his head to kiss him. Inseop was startled and took a step back, so his lips did not touch his.

    “…….”

Lee Wooyeon lowered his body and looked at Inseop.

    “I’m sorry. I have younger siblings….”

    Lee Wooyeon’s eyes narrowed.

“I don’t mind if I lay you down on the table and have s*x in front of them right now.”

    “……!”

    Inseop’s face turned white.

    “Just a joke.”

Lee Wooyeon tapped Inseop on the shoulder and smiled.

    “Then I’ll go in first.”

Before Inseop could say anything, Lee Wooyeon disappeared.

    [What were you thinking earlier?]

Inseop suddenly raised his head in response to Logan’s question.

    “Huh? What?”

    [What are you thinking?]

    “Nothing.”

Inseop smiled and shook his head. He stood up while fiddling with his empty beer glass.

“I need to go to the bathroom for a moment.”

Inseop asked for understanding from his younger brothers and stood up. Lee Wooyeon, who left early, could not be found on the first floor. He went up to the second floor and knocked on his door, but there was no sign of him.

    Where was he?

Inseop looked around and smelled an acrid smell coming from the second floor balcony. As expected, Lee Wooyeon was smoking and drinking.

    “You came?”

Lee Wooyeon found Inseop and smiled.

    “…Didn’t you sleep?”

    “Yeah, I can’t sleep.”

    Inseop approached Lee Wooyeon’s side.

    “Sorry.”

    “What?”

“The reason I avoided it earlier… was definitely not because I was embarrassed of Lee Wooyeon.”

Lee Wooyeon narrowed his eyes with a cigarette in his mouth.

“I did it because I thought it would be a nuisance to Lee Wooyeon.”

    “I’m not a celebrity anymore.”

Lee Wooyeon extinguished his cigarette by rubbing it into the ashtray.

“I’m not mad because of that.”

    “…….”

That’s not to say he wasn’t angry. Inseop thought for a moment and then opened his mouth.

“I know that it was very rude of them to come without prior consent. I will apologize on behalf of my younger siblings. I will go down and send them home right away.”

Even though it was his mother’s request, coming to visit without even a phone call was definitely crossing the line. Even though they were his younger siblings, they were just strangers to Lee Wooyeon.

“Why is Mr. Inseop apologizing on their behalf?”

    “Huh? That’s because they’re my younger brothers….”

“Then will you please apologize to them for me getting so attached to Mr. Inseop?”

Inseop blinked his eyes a couple of times before belatedly understanding Lee Wooyeon’s words and smiling slightly.

“They’re just kids with big bodies. They’ve been like that since they were young. They’re very playful….”

“So you’re going to keep letting me do whatever I want?”

    “…They are my younger brothers.”

A twisted smile appeared on Lee Wooyeon’s lips.

    “They’re not your brothers.”

    “Yes?”

    “They’re strangers.”

Inseop’s face looked dull. He felt like he was doused with cold water. He didn’t know what to say, so he just pursed his lips and lowered his head. His tears welled up.

    “…don’t say things like that.”

Inseop’s voice trembled. He didn’t want Lee Wooyeon to like his family, but he didn’t want him to deny his family. They were people who loved him enough to never resent the fact that he was abandoned by his biological parents.

Tears welled up and fell from Inseop’s big eyes. Lee Wooyeon said, “F**k,” and let out a low curse.

    “I’m sorry.”

    He apologized right away.

    “I slipped up. I apologize.”

    “…no.”

Inseop quickly wiped away his tears.

“I’ll go down and send my younger siblings. I’m sorry for making you worry.”

Lee Wooyeon grabbed Inseop’s wrist and pulled him. He was just hugged.

“I guess I drank too much. I’m sorry, Mr. Inseop. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

    “It’s okay.”

    Inseop tried to smile.

Lee Wooyeon wiped Inseop’s tears tangled in his eyelashes and lightly kissed his forehead.

“It’s late, so tell your younger siblings to sleep here.”

“No, Aaron didn’t drink so he can drive.”

“They are children. Can we spend time with them at this time of night?”

Lee Wooyeon pressed his lips to Inseop’s cheek again.

“The only thing left on the first floor is a room, so they can sleep anywhere.”

    “Thank you. And I’m sorry.”

    Lee Wooyeon let Inseop go.

“Then I’ll go in first and sleep. Sleep well.”

    “…good night.”

After receiving Inseop’s greeting, Lee Wooyeon went into his room. Even after he left, Inseop stood silently for a long time.
