I thought that being in the same room meant we would have to use one perfectly overlapping space, but fortunately, that wasn’t the case. The accommodations were built so grandly that when Jaechan opened the door to their assigned room and stepped inside, an exclamation of “Wow” escaped his lips involuntarily.

The room was a loft. He had thought the ceiling height of the dormitory building itself was high enough to live in without feeling cramped, and it seemed that high ceiling was because the room was a duplex.

He tried climbing the stairs leading to the right. Although the ceiling was a bit lower than the bottom floor, a desk for personal work, a bed, and a wardrobe were neatly arranged. Furthermore, the second floor had a very small window opening to the sky, allowing one to see the stars or the sun.

Since it was the same as the layout of Jaechan’s own house, the moment he saw the room, he said, “The second floor is mine.” Fortunately, Han Kang shook his head, saying, “I hate the second floor.” Apparently, he preferred the first floor because he had been pushed into living on the second floor by his older brothers’ pressure since he was young.

Unlike Jaechan, who was letting out exclamations of “Ooh” just because he liked it, Han Kang seemed to find something disagreeable. Wearing a sullen expression ever since they entered the room, he was half-heartedly poking and prodding at things here and there.

    “What’s wrong?”

“Why are they separating us. They said it’s the same room, but this isn’t the same room.”

“What are you talking about, it’s totally the same room. There’s only one door.”

Having sufficiently looked around the second floor, Jaechan pointed at the door as he came back down to the lower floor. Whether he accepted it as plausible logic, Han Kang said nothing more.

Calling it a room was an understatement; it was practically a house. It was a structure where, once you opened the large entrance door and stepped inside, other doors were placed throughout. To the right, where a space for washing was provided, there was a vanity first; going a bit further inside and opening a door revealed the toilet and shower room, and turning slightly to open another door revealed a large bathtub.

To the left was a walk-in closet. There were four spaces spreading out in all directions with four separate doors, which drew an exclamation of admiration. After seeing the space where accessories could be displayed in the area where the doors gathered, he clapped his hands automatically.

He felt they had put a lot of thought into it. The space, equipped so that literally everything except training could be handled within the dormitory, showed signs of elaborate effort in every corner.

If the room was this good, how amazing must the outside be?

Just as he was about to head out, sparked by curiosity about the dormitory…

    “What is this?”

Jaechan let out a hollow laugh at the force tightly constricting his waist. Han Kang, who he thought had been dawdling on the floor the whole time, had suddenly hugged him from behind. Burying his lips into the nape of his neck, he even rubbed his head against him like a puppy.

“Ah, just because we moved into the dorm…”

“Let’s rest a bit before going out. There were too many humans in the main auditorium earlier, it drained my energy.”

Jaechan let out a “Huh?” of bewilderment. He turned his body, which was trapped in Han Kang’s embrace, to face him.

“Your energy gets drained in places like that?”

He asked because he truly didn’t know. He knew Han Kang’s personality wasn’t particularly fond of people, but he didn’t know it was to the extent of his energy being drained in crowded places.

“I hate it when there are many humans.”

Han Kang spoke while hardening his expression into a pout, as if he truly loathed it. Because that was funny and absurd, Jaechan patted Han Kang’s arm repeatedly, saying he understood.

“Then sit down, I’ll tell you the schedule.”

There were no other plans for today anyway. Since it was a busy day for moving and organizing luggage, the Center had been understanding regarding the schedules of all Espers and Guides.

Jaechan thought it would be good to use this opportunity to inform him of the schedule starting tomorrow. Tapping Han Kang’s back, he went to sit on the bed. Even during that, Han Kang held Jaechan’s waist tightly and fiddled with his lips while burying his face in the nape of his neck.

Sitting stuck together and squirming was a familiar thing by now. Even as he felt his body heating up with a tickling sensation, Jaechan let out a fake cough, pretending otherwise.

    “Alright, I’m starting.”

    “No, in a little bit.”

    “Why, again.”

As he spoke, Han Kang flopped over and lay flat on his back. Jaechan, whose waist was caught and ended up lying on top of his body as a result, quirked an eyebrow.

“Hey, hey. Let’s do this and then lie down properly. You have to hear all of this anyway, and since you’re in the danger group, you have to keep receiving guiding. We’re going to do it all, so why are you being so…”

“Ah, you’re going to give me guiding?”

“When have I ever not given it to you?”

Only after Jaechan roughly ruffled the hair of Han Kang, who was stuck to him and wouldn’t budge, did Han Kang finally grin and release the hands that had been holding his waist.

Jaechan didn’t miss the chance and hurriedly scrambled off his body. Han Kang, who had been holding Jaechan so he couldn’t move, was smiling refreshingly as if nothing had happened. He twisted his body toward Jaechan, his eyes even shining brightly.

Staring at Han Kang, Jaechan felt somewhat bashful and scratched the back of his head. Then he bounced his body on the mattress. Then he bounced his hips one more time, letting out an “Oh.”

    “The mattress here is good.”

    “Is it?”

“I should ask what brand it is when we move out later. I should change the mattress at home too.”

“You’re quite the homemaker, a real prepared husband candidate. I really lucked out with you, honey. Right?”

    “Talk some sense.”

Jaechan just let out a chuckle. There was no need to give much meaning to words spoken meaninglessly anyway.

    “Take out your phone.”

    “Yeah. Taking it out.”

Leaving Han Kang still lying down, Jaechan took out the schedule and scanned it thoroughly. Looking at it again, it was a very well-made schedule. Because he had prioritized Han Kang’s schedule, the schedules of the other Espers had ended up different from usual, but it was an unavoidable measure.

Jaechan enlarged the table significantly and recited it item by item.

“First, we’ll have team training every day from 9 AM to 12 PM. Among those, Tuesdays and Thursdays are joint training with Guides.”

    “Oh yeah.”

“Personal physical training from 2 PM to 3 PM after lunch. I’ll be with you during this time too.”

    “Nice.”

“After that, a short break, and then personal training from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The detailed training contents for each day are written below, right? Look at that. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are Guide-accompanied training, but if each Esper wants, we can be with you every day for other training sessions too. But since you’re currently a high-risk Esper for rampaging, you have to be with me whether you like it or not.”

    “Sweet.”

Other Espers would have scowled, saying it was annoying. Han Kang was busy showing joyful reactions, saying “Oh yeah,” “Nice,” and “Sweet.”

    Is guiding really that good?

The image of Han Kang saying he hated Guides and speaking harsh words about “sluts” seemed like a past life.

Jaechan let out a chuckle and gently rubbed Han Kang’s forehead. It might seem light because he was reciting it verbally, but it was a schedule consisting of an entire day of nothing but training. Espers rampaged most frequently and suffered the most during this period.

Even though they had time to recover here and there, it was even more so because the use of supernatural powers became more frequent compared to the usual training amount as they entered earnest match preparations.

Also, the schedule specified that they could voluntarily rest or do additional training after 6:30 PM when the daily routine ended, but…

“You’re going to do additional training, right?”

Knowing Han Kang, he would likely do additional training.

No matter how much of a slacker Han Kang might be, his attitude changed when facing an important match. And Jaechan wasn’t the least bit burdened by that. Han Kang being serious about his work—just the thought of it was actually great.

    “Depends on my condition.”

    “Right.”

Jaechan specifically wrote the words “High probability of additional training depending on condition” at the very bottom of the daily schedule. It was a kind of vow to manage his own condition properly as well.

It was the moment he let out a deep sigh, thinking that it was finally starting. His heart fluttered shallowly. As the various imaginations he had in the main auditorium resurfaced, the corners of his mouth danced uncontrollably.

“What are you smiling about that makes you so happy?”

    “Nothing.”

“You were smiling like that in the main auditorium earlier too, what is it?”

    “I’ll tell you later.”

His pride wouldn’t allow him to recite things that hadn’t happened yet in great detail. So when he dodged the answer and pressed the bridge of his nose, Han Kang replied with a “Yeah.”

Then he fully turned his body, which had been turned away, toward Jaechan and lay face down. As he did, their bodies naturally overlapped.

“Right, so we’re in the new dorm, quite something.”

Jaechan let out a chuckle and patted his back. However, what came back was a voice heavier than expected.

“Yeah, honey… but I really don’t feel well.”

As he said, there was no strength even in the action of burying his face deep, so Jaechan’s eyes rounded.

Even when they were leaving the Center dormitory earlier, Han Kang’s condition wasn’t bad. This was true for his guiding levels as well as his physical state. He didn’t look that bad in the main auditorium either.

    Why is he like this?

Wondering if a sudden rampage had come again, he hurriedly looked at his watch. However, no particular abnormality regarding that appeared on the watch. He hurriedly felt his forehead. But his forehead, touching his palm, was hot—too hot.

Jaechan, who until now hadn’t reacted much no matter what Han Kang did, jumped in surprise.

    “What is this?”

    “What.”

    “You have a fever?”

    “It’s been happening often lately.”

    What is it?

Jaechan flusteredly tried to sit up to check his condition, but it was only for a moment. Han Kang, leaning his full weight, pressed down on Jaechan, almost crushing him.

Han Kang’s black pupils turned toward him, and then their bodies pressed together even more.

    “Hey, hey.”

Jaechan urgently grabbed Han Kang’s shoulders and lifted his upper body. However, Han Kang, who had released all strength in his body and gone limp, just rolled his black pupils.

Han Kang, having forcibly pressed their bodies together again, buried his nose in Jaechan’s neck and breathed slowly. A chill, as if the hair all over his body was standing on end, struck him. Jaechan felt his heavy crotch and twisted his waist slightly to the side.

Han Kang’s eyes, looking at Jaechan, shone vividly. The flashing gaze wasn’t very kind. He felt as if his clothes were being stripped off by that gaze, which seemed to be picking a target and obsessively tearing it apart to analyze it.

“We’re making quite a grand entrance into the dorm, aren’t we.”

    “Phew…”

With the words spat out in a completely cracked voice, Han Kang swallowed Jaechan’s lips in a single breath.
