Vol 1 Ch 1
by chefYeonjun, who was neatly filling the empty shelves with milk and coffee, stared at the man’s face printed on the coffee can. Next to the smiling man, the name “Actor Seo Jeongwon” was printed along with a signature. Yeonjun, thinking it was a smile that suited the smooth and sweet coffee, turned the coffee cans little by little so that Seo Jeongwon’s face was clearly visible, arranging them neatly in a row. It wasn’t a big deal, but just seeing Seo Jeongwon’s face made his heart flutter.
After organizing everything that needed to be tidied up in the convenience store, Yeonjun returned to the counter and leaned forward, looking at the cover of a thin monthly magazine placed near the entrance. There, too, was a large picture of actor Seo Jeongwon’s face. The stock that had come in on the release date had sold out immediately, so this was an additional supply that had arrived this morning.
Last time, he had only worked the register and hadn’t been able to buy one, but today, as soon as they came in, he bought a copy and carefully placed it in his locker in the convenience store warehouse so it wouldn’t get crumpled. The joy was too great to be called a thousand-won happiness, and he felt good all day.
“Welcome.”
Yeonjun straightened up as he saw a customer enter with a ringing bell. He was secretly pleased to see that the female customer was holding both the coffee with Seo Jeongwon’s face printed on it and the monthly magazine. He was happy to see Seo Jeongwon’s face one more time while scanning the barcodes, and even happier to confirm that the actor he liked was so loved. Yeonjun watched the departing customer’s back and greeted her in a bright voice.
Actor Seo Jeongwon was the only joy and light in Ha Yeonjun’s otherwise blank and empty life. During his middle school days, when he was younger and more withdrawn, Yeonjun endured constant bullying and harassment, but when he entered the second grade, he reached his limit.
A seizure-like shortness of breath and tinnitus choked Yeonjun, and he fainted in the classroom. Yeonjun stayed in the nurse’s office until the school was empty, then went to the empty classroom, grabbed his old schoolbag, and left the school. Standing alone outside in the darkness, which felt so very dark, Yeonjun cried a lot for the first time.
It was hard to endure, so very hard. Yeonjun sat on a swing in an empty playground where children had been playing, crying for a long time, and even thinking about giving up everything, before finally heading home late at night. As he walked along a quiet and scary alley where not even the sound of insects could be heard, he arrived at his house, where silence clung to him as always.
Although he was used to the silence, it was still scary, so Yeonjun habitually turned on the TV and changed out of his school uniform. It was cool and the weather was nice outside, but the house was chilly enough to make his shoulders hunch. Yeonjun took out a green tea bag, put water in a small kettle, and stood there blankly. Then, suddenly, an unfamiliar voice reached him from behind.
<…I had a really hard day today.>
He had thought it, but since he was always alone, someone else was saying the words he had never uttered aloud. Yeonjun turned around, leaving the kettle to wail. Inside the small TV screen, a man in a school uniform was crying.
<I had such a hard time that I wished the day would just disappear. It was so hard that I couldn’t even breathe, and I just kept thinking that I wanted it all to end….>
All the feelings he had thought about for the first time today were vividly reaching his ears. He was clearly keeping his mouth shut, but the things in his heart were bursting out as sounds along with the man’s tears. Yeonjun stared at the man’s face on the screen, barely able to breathe.
<I wish someone was here. I don’t care who it is… they don’t even have to say anything, just…. just so I’m not alone…….>
A scarred face, wet eyes, tears welling up every time he blinked even though he was trying not to cry. Yeonjun knew the man’s name. He had never watched dramas or movies, but it was a face he could easily see at bus stops, subway stations, and whenever he turned on the TV. Seo Jeongwon. The actor with the unrealistically handsome face had become a boy who was being bullied at school and had completely broken down.
The kettle wailed as if screaming. Startled, Yeonjun quickly turned off the heat and looked back at the screen. A person who looked like a teacher was comforting Seo Jeongwon on the screen. Seo Jeongwon hung his head and just kept shedding tears.
Watching that face, clenching his fists and hitting his thighs painfully to try not to cry but unable to stop, Yeonjun broke down again. He knew it was just acting, but he still felt like he had met someone who shared the same feelings he had felt today, and his heart, filled with moisture, kept softening.
That day was the beginning. He learned that the title of the drama was <It’s Okay, Tomorrow>, and he looked up what kind of story it was. While looking up the character introduction of Seo Jeongwon, who appeared as “Yoo Jungho” in the drama, he learned that he was a character who lived like him, an orphan with no one to rely on, and he began to wait for the next episode. He didn’t know what would happen in reality, but he was so curious whether the drama would have a happy ending. He hoped that Yoo Jungho, who had shed tears and said he didn’t want to be alone, would be happy.
From that day on, Yeonjun spent every day waiting for that drama. Even when he had a hard time, he didn’t think about ending everything. It was because he wanted to know what would happen to Yoo Jungho next. The days spent waiting for the following Wednesday were not as difficult as before.
When Wednesday came, Yeonjun sat in front of the TV from nine o’clock, waiting for the drama. Watching Seo Jeongwon on the screen, whose face was less scarred and who was smiling little by little, Yeonjun smiled and cried along with him.
<I can’t say I’m completely happy yet, but I think I can be happy.>
Watching Seo Jeongwon’s face, smiling brightly on a very sunny day, saying that he thought he could be happy, Yeonjun spent a completely joyful night. Seeing Seo Jeongwon, whom he had first seen crying, smiling brightly, he felt like he could be happy like that too. After that day, Yeonjun began to spend his days waiting for actor Seo Jeongwon’s new dramas or movies.
He also re-watched Seo Jeongwon’s dramas that he hadn’t been able to see before, and the time he spent reading every single word of the many interviews and articles was not lonely at all. Yeonjun’s life changed just by having a reason to spend each day cheerfully.
He wasn’t bullied at the high school he entered after graduating from middle school. He didn’t have any close friends, but he wasn’t excessively teased or harassed like before. When there was something they had to do together, everyone was willing to do it with Yeonjun, and they often ate at the same table.
Other people might think it wasn’t a big change, but it was a very big change for Yeonjun. Just knowing that he didn’t have to cower anymore made him not afraid of tomorrow coming.
Yeonjun thought that all these positive changes were thanks to Seo Jeongwon. It must have been because of the positive influence he showed, always saying he could do it, shining brightly. Yeonjun really liked Seo Jeongwon. He was the first “person” he had liked since being left alone. And it was clearly one of the many forms of love.
The last moments of his nineteen years, just before graduation, were no different from any other time. Ha Yeonjun’s life was not easy, as it had always been.
His family, his parents, who were poor but definitely existed, left Yeonjun’s side on the same day and at the same time. It was a traffic accident. His parents, who were driving a truck and selling fruit, were on their way home after leaving Yeonjun’s favorite peaches, when they were involved in an accident while trying to avoid a car driving in the wrong direction due to drunk driving. They died instantly at the scene. Even now, Yeonjun sometimes hears the voices of the doctor, the police, and the paramedics telling him those words when he is blankly staring into space. Both of them died instantly at the scene.
The driver of the car that was driving in the wrong direction had a fracture. Yeonjun’s aunt and uncle made a settlement on behalf of the half-crazed young Yeonjun. The settlement money went into the hands of Yeonjun’s only guardians, his aunt and uncle. His aunt repeatedly reassured Yeonjun that she would manage it for him and give it to him when he became an adult.
After the funeral, he went to live at his aunt’s house. On the surface, they said they were family and told Yeonjun to make himself comfortable, but Yeonjun couldn’t adjust to that house. It was especially difficult to endure his cousin, Kim Hyunchang, who would secretly come to his room whenever it was night or his aunt and uncle were away, touching his face and panting. Yeonjun locked his door every night and trembled under the covers. His jaw would chatter whenever he heard the doorknob being turned from the outside.
Yeonjun endured in that house for three years before finally returning to this poor neighborhood where he had lived with his parents when he entered middle school. It smelled a little musty, but everything else was fine, probably because he had been coming once a month to clean.
No, it didn’t matter if it wasn’t fine. He liked this place so much because he didn’t have to lock the door and hold his breath whenever he heard footsteps outside his room, and he didn’t have his uncle sighing as he looked at him at every meal, his aunt casting her eyes down without saying a word, and his cousin glancing at him.
And this was the place where Yeonjun had lived with his kind mom and dad for several years. There was no reason to complain about the slight musty smell and the lack of sunlight.
Yeonjun, who became alone a little faster than ordinary people, learned how to live “alone” from the age of fourteen to nineteen. In fact, it was more accurate to say that he endured each day. His aunt sent him money for living expenses once a month, but it wasn’t a lot of money. All the money that came out in Yeonjun’s name was managed by his guardian, his aunt. Yeonjun was afraid of such an aunt. So he didn’t have any complaints. He didn’t want anything more from his aunt just for letting him live alone.
Yeonjun had lived until now, enduring the inevitable tomorrow and enduring that tomorrow again and again. The existence of Seo Jeongwon, whom he had suddenly encountered in those days of endurance, created soft parts in his dry life, but it was still an arid life without any moisture when viewed from afar.
<Share love with your neighbors in the cold winter. Your concern will melt frozen hearts and the world.>
Yeonjun, who was changing clothes and coming out, stopped and listened to the end of the public service announcement with Seo Jeongwon’s voice coming from the radio he had turned on in the convenience store. Even though he heard it several times every day, Yeonjun would stop in his tracks and hold his breath whenever Seo Jeongwon’s voice came on. In addition to public service announcements, Seo Jeongwon’s voice was often heard in radio commercials for coffee and beds. Waiting for that voice to come on while working part-time was also quite enjoyable.
“You really worked hard today. I was saved because you came, Yeonjun. My wife was crying because our kid suddenly went to the emergency room, and the convenience store stuff was coming in, but I couldn’t close.”
“Is Yerin okay?”
“Yeah, she must have caught a bad cold. It’s a relief. She had a really high fever when we went, but she’s better now.”
“I’m glad it didn’t get worse.”
“I know. This cold is really bad. Be careful, too. If you keep showing your neck like that, you’ll catch a cold, too. And take this and eat it for dinner.”
The owner, who had urgently called Yeonjun to ask him to look after the convenience store after receiving a call from his wife saying that his young daughter was suffering from a high fever and had called an ambulance, was so grateful that he packed two of the most expensive lunch boxes, drinks, bread, and even chicken from the convenience store and handed them to Yeonjun. Yeonjun refused several times, saying it was okay, but the owner followed Yeonjun out, put them in his hands, and pushed him on his way. Yeonjun had no choice but to head home with the heavy bag full of food.
It was about five bus stops away, so it was hard to walk on very hot days or cold days like this, but it was now a familiar routine for Yeonjun. He had developed the habit of walking to save on transportation costs, so walking this much was now natural. He had to walk five bus stops, climb the stairs, and go a long way up the uphill alley to get home, but it wasn’t something he could avoid because it was hard, so Yeonjun put his strength into moving his feet again today.
Yeonjun, who had walked for forty minutes and climbed the stairs to the alley, raised his head and looked up the stairs when he heard a noisy sound that was different from usual. People lived up there, but it was strange because he had never heard people talking or laughing like this.
Yeonjun looked at the many large cars parked in the alley where cars could pass in the middle of the stairs, and the many people wearing vests carrying briquettes up the alley. On the back of the vests they were wearing, the phrase “Share love with warm briquettes in the cold winter!” was written.
“……”
It seemed that they were people who had come to volunteer to distribute briquettes to low-income families for free. He had heard about doing this kind of volunteer work, but it was the first time they had come to where he lived, so the scene itself was very unfamiliar to Yeonjun. There were also several people with very large cameras, not just regular cameras. Thinking that the organization was going to keep a record, Yeonjun entered the alley so as not to get in the way of the people carrying the briquettes.
As Yeonjun expected, people knocked on the doors of the old houses all over the alley and filled the homes of the people in the poor neighborhood who came out with briquettes. Yeonjun carefully moved to one side so as not to collide with the people carrying the briquettes and the people who were distributing them and coming down. It felt good to see the alley, which was always quiet, filled with people’s voices, laughter, and footsteps.
Listening to the sounds of people smiling and talking to the residents, and the lively sounds of people going up and down, Yeonjun arrived home faster than usual and looked at the backs of three people talking in front of his closed door.
“It seems like no one’s home. Shall we go to another house?”
“Yes, let’s finish quickly and go. We were supposed to finish by four o’clock, but it’s already five o’clock. It’ll be dark soon, so it’s better to finish quickly before that.”
“Then let’s just visit one more house.”
Yeonjun, who was listening to the conversation between another man and a woman standing next to a very tall man, took another step towards the house.
“Excuse me…….”
The three people turned around at the same time when they heard Yeonjun’s voice. Yeonjun, seeing the unfamiliar faces of the two people who were talking, finally looked up at the face of the tall man.
“Do you live here?”
The question was asked, but Yeonjun couldn’t say anything and just stared blankly at the man in front of him. It was unbelievable. Seo Jeongwon was standing in front of him.
“You know actor Seo Jeongwon, right? We’re volunteering to deliver briquettes with Seo Jeongwon today. The others said that a student lives here alone, so we came, but since no one was here, we were about to leave.”
Seo Jeongwon. It was really Seo Jeongwon. That actor Seo Jeongwon who was printed on the coffee sold at the convenience store, the person who was on the billboards whenever he passed by a bus stop, the very Seo Jeongwon who did the public service announcements in a kind voice was now standing in front of him.
As Seo Jeongwon moved, their eyes met and Yeonjun, surprised, took a step back. The foot that moved back slipped as soon as it touched the ground, and his body tilted. It was because the snow that had fallen a few days ago hadn’t melted and was frozen. Yeonjun fell and sat down. The unknown man and woman made surprised noises and leaned towards Yeonjun.
“Are you okay?”
“Oh my, what should we do?”
Yeonjun dropped the bag containing the food, but without even realizing it, he looked at Seo Jeongwon with disbelieving eyes, and his lips slowly parted. It was really the person he had only seen on the screen. He was sparkling and shining, and his face was as handsome as on the screen, no, even more handsome than on the screen. No, the word handsome wasn’t enough. Yeonjun didn’t even feel the pain.
The man standing next to Seo Jeongwon glanced at Seo Jeongwon, who was just standing still, and nudged his arm, and Seo Jeongwon, after glancing at him, took off his gloves and took a step towards Yeonjun, who had fallen. Yeonjun closed his eyes tightly once, deeply, as he saw Seo Jeongwon getting closer. He was a little scared that everything would disappear when he opened his eyes. But even when he opened his eyes, Seo Jeongwon was still in front of him. Yeonjun stared blankly at Seo Jeongwon, who was bending down and reaching out his hand to him.
“Can you get up?”
The voice that came out from between his parted lips was also Seo Jeongwon’s. Yeonjun looked at Seo Jeongwon, who was reaching out his hand to him, and carefully took that hand in front of him. The air was so cold, but Seo Jeongwon’s hand was very warm. The large, warm hand firmly grabbed Yeonjun’s hand and pulled him up.
Seo Jeongwon, who had been holding Yeonjun’s hand tightly until he completely got up, slowly released his fingers. Yeonjun, whose hand was burning as if Seo Jeongwon’s body temperature had been transferred, held it tightly with his other hand and quickly bowed his head to Seo Jeongwon.
“…Thank you.”
His voice trembled and was small. He was so out of his mind that he didn’t know what was really going on.
“Do you perhaps not know Seo Jeongwon?”
“Yes? Ah…. I know him. I really… like him a lot too.”
At Yeonjun’s words, the man and woman standing next to Seo Jeongwon exchanged glances and nodded. Yeonjun glanced at Seo Jeongwon, who was standing there with an indifferent face. Even after blinking his eyes several times, Seo Jeongwon was still there. He was breathing, moving his hands, and blinking his eyes.
“Well, we’re not here for volunteer work on a broadcast, but we came out with good intentions among the members of our agency. Still, we need to keep records of these things, so we’re getting consent to film a sketch of the volunteer site.”
“Ah…. Yes.”
“If it’s okay with you, we’d like to deliver daily necessities and briquettes to your home and do some simple filming. Most of the people here are very old, so many of them don’t know Seo Jeongwon, but it’s nice to meet a student who knows him, and since you like him, I thought it would be a good memory, so I’m asking you.”
Just seeing Seo Jeongwon like this in person was already unbelievable, but to be able to see him a little more and even film with him, Yeonjun wondered what he was hearing. It was one-sided, but if he could spend any more time with Seo Jeongwon, whom he had relied on and liked so much for years, anything would be good. It would be even better if it helped Seo Jeongwon.
“You can refuse if you’re uncomfortable. It’s not a necessary shoot.”
At Seo Jeongwon’s sudden voice, Yeonjun quickly waved his hand. It wasn’t that he couldn’t answer because he was uncomfortable, but because he was still so surprised and his heart was beating so fast that he couldn’t speak well, but he was afraid that they might think that way, so he became anxious.
“No, no. I’m not uncomfortable…. It’s not that I’m uncomfortable, but I’m just worried that I might be a nuisance……”
“A nuisance? What are you talking about? Don’t think of it as filming, just act comfortably.”
“…Yes.”
Yeonjun quickly picked up the bag that had fallen on the floor and opened the gate. As the rusty gate opened and he went inside, he could finally see the very dilapidated house here and there. He usually saw it all the time, so he never paid much attention to it, but today, when he came in with someone else, especially the actor Seo Jeongwon, the house looked even more run-down.
There were many people who gave up cleaning because the house was already old, but Yeonjun still tried to keep the house as clean as possible by cleaning the room every day and organizing the kitchen and storage room. It was because he wanted to protect this house where he had memories of living with his parents.
Thanks to that, Yeonjun’s house was cleaner than any other house in this shantytown. In particular, it was good that it didn’t smell of mold.
“Then, excuse us.”
Yeonjun, who looked closely at the face of the man who came into the house first, finally realized that the man was Seo Jeongwon’s manager. He had seen him in press photos together.
“The house is clean. You must have taken good care of it.”
The manager and a woman who appeared to be an agency official brought the boxes that had been placed in front of the house inside. The names of ramen and instant rice brands were written on the outside of the boxes. In addition, there were plenty of things like coffee, tissues, winter blankets, and hand warmers in the narrow yard.
“Are you giving us all of this?”
“Yes. These are all items sponsored by actor Seo Jeongwon. In addition, we will deliver briquettes and this padding so that you can spend the cold winter warmly.”
Yeonjun looked at Seo Jeongwon, who was smiling and carrying briquettes into the house. A person with a camera was filming Seo Jeongwon, and he moved into the house, filming him stacking briquettes next to the boiler. Yeonjun just blankly turned his head and looked at Seo Jeongwon, who was vividly moving in front of him. Even though he was still watching him, it was still unbelievable.
Only after Seo Jeongwon had filled the boiler room with briquettes did he go outside the gate. Yeonjun followed the manager’s guidance and went outside, standing awkwardly next to Seo Jeongwon. Standing right next to him, he realized how tall Seo Jeongwon was.
“Okay, now let’s take a few pictures together and finish. Please stand a little closer together.”
At the manager’s words, Seo Jeongwon moved a little closer to where Yeonjun was standing. Yeonjun just fidgeted with his hands as Seo Jeongwon’s arm touched his body. The photographer, who had been bending over to take a few pictures, lifted his body and said to Seo Jeongwon.
“Could you put your arm around the student’s shoulder and hug him, actor?”
“Yes.”
Seo Jeongwon, who answered briefly, lifted his arm and wrapped it around Yeonjun’s shoulder. Yeonjun shrugged his shoulders at the feeling of a firm arm crossing his body and firm fingers gripping his shoulder. Seo Jeongwon looked down at Yeonjun with his eyes and gently stroked his shoulder, putting strength into his hand. Yeonjun, surprised by the complete contact of their bodies, could only look ahead without saying a word.
The manager gestured with his hand in front, pretending to lift the corners of his mouth to smile. Yeonjun didn’t want to leave a record that looked awkward, so he gently pulled up his lips and smiled.
“Thank you for your hard work in the cold.”
The photographer shrugged his shoulders as if he was cold, greeted them, and went down the alley. As the arm around his shoulder was released, Yeonjun took a step back and looked at Seo Jeongwon. Seo Jeongwon had a tired look on his face.
“Manager, say goodbye and bring the actor over. I’ll go down and clean up.”
“Yes, Chief.”
The woman, who was called Chief, smiled and greeted Yeonjun before going down the alley. Yeonjun looked at the woman’s back as she went down, then shifted his gaze back to Seo Jeongwon. The manager approached Yeonjun.
“I think you’ll get the pictures later, but I’ll send them to you as soon as I get them. Could you save your number here?”
“Ah…. Are you sending me the pictures too?”
“Of course. I have to give them to you.”
He had never thought that he would be able to receive a picture taken with Seo Jeongwon, so he was very happy. Yeonjun wrote his number on the manager’s cell phone and carefully checked to see if he had accidentally pressed the wrong number.
“You’re giving me the pictures too…. Thank you so much.”
“What are you talking about? We’re really grateful to you for your help in many ways today. Well, then……”
The manager gently pushed Seo Jeongwon, who was standing next to him. Seo Jeongwon glanced at the manager, then finally came forward and held out his hand to Yeonjun, taking off his glove.
“Thank you for today. I hope you have a warm winter, even if it’s just a little bit.”
Yeonjun, who was holding Seo Jeongwon’s hand that was in front of him again, raised his head and met Seo Jeongwon’s eyes, who was looking at him. With just this warm hand and gaze, today was already the warmest day of all the winters Yeonjun had spent.
“I’m really grateful too….”
There were so many things he wanted to say, but he couldn’t think of any of them. He liked him a lot, he was able to comfort all the sad and difficult times thanks to him, and he wanted him to show good acting in the future. The sentences came to his mind, but they didn’t come out as words. He couldn’t bring himself to say it because he thought it might be burdensome or too sudden.
“Go inside, it’s cold.”
The hands that had been holding each other warmly fell apart, and Seo Jeongwon lightly bowed to Yeonjun and went down the alley first. The manager looked at Seo Jeongwon once, then quickly greeted Yeonjun again and followed him. Yeonjun turned his body and stood there blankly, watching Seo Jeongwon’s back as he strode away quickly with his long legs.
“……”
The cold wind, which made his white cheeks even paler, and the tips of his fingers, which would have frozen on the way home, were only warm today. Yeonjun stared at the empty alley where Seo Jeongwon was no longer visible for a long time.
Today, Seo Jeongwon’s path was neither cold nor slippery, but only warm and friendly.
***
Yeonjun, who had neatly organized the things that Seo Jeongwon had given him in the storage room, came outside to sprinkle sand on the ice that was still on the road. The road was dark and then bright as the flickering streetlights repeated, but the light stayed on all the time. Yeonjun sprinkled the sand that the volunteers had given him on the ice where he had slipped and fallen earlier, and then sprinkled sand on the ice nearby before looking around and moving back to the gate.
“…Huh…?”
The moment he was about to cross the gate, he saw something black that had fallen in one corner. Yeonjun carefully picked it up. It was a glove. The very glove that Seo Jeongwon had taken off when he shook hands. Seo Jeongwon’s right hand was not wearing a glove when he went down the road earlier. He must have taken it off and dropped it then. Yeonjun cherished Seo Jeongwon’s glove as if he was glad he had come out and went inside.
Yeonjun went into his room, closed the door, washed the sand off his hands, sat on the floor, and looked at the glove. He didn’t know it well in the dark, but when he came inside, he saw that it was covered in dirt and dust. It wasn’t just a glove he used for work, but a regular glove with a brand tag, so he didn’t know what to do with it. First, Yeonjun opened the door again and shook off all the dirt and dust on the glove. Then he came back in and carefully put the glove in the drawer.
He knew they would never meet again, but he still wanted to have it. Because it was Jeongwon’s. Yeonjun looked at the closed drawer, then pulled his body towards it and finally opened the drawer. And he stared at the glove that was neatly placed on top for a long time.
The glove couldn’t talk, and it wasn’t interesting, but Yeonjun just kept looking at the glove. This glove was telling him that the short time earlier, which was like a dream, was not a dream. Yeonjun lightly put his fingertips on the glove. It felt like Seo Jeongwon’s warm warmth was still on the glove.
Drrr. Yeonjun, startled by the sudden vibration from the floor, turned his head and looked at his cell phone. Yeonjun, who saw a text message from an unknown number, looked at what was written as “attached” and went into the message box.
[Hello~ This is Kim Sunjong, actor Seo Jeongwon’s manager. I’m sending you two pictures. Thank you so much for today~^^]
As soon as he saw Seo Jeongwon’s name, Yeonjun sat up straight and looked at the picture of him and Seo Jeongwon that was below. He took a deep breath and pressed the picture, and the picture filled the not-so-large screen. Yeonjun quietly looked at Seo Jeongwon’s face, who was smiling with his arm around his shoulder. He was happy that just one glove reminded him that today’s events were not a dream, but to have a picture taken together, this reality that was not a dream was like a dream again.
‘Can you get up?’
It wasn’t a special word, but just the fact that Seo Jeongwon said it made it the most special word for Yeonjun. Seo Jeongwon’s hand in front of him, the grip that held his hand, and even his body temperature were all vivid.
Isn’t the actor really an angel? Yeonjun kept smiling as he looked at Seo Jeongwon’s face in the screen, which was so bright that it was sparkling, and he just bit his innocent lips. He had hardly had any good things happen in his life, but it was as if he had received a large gift of happiness that might have had to exist in all those times at once.
“……”
The smiling face and the strength of the arm that hugged his shoulder. The feeling of the fingers moving on his shoulder and the movement of the hair that shook when he slowly tilted his head were all so clear. Yeonjun recalled and recalled Seo Jeongwon, who was so handsome and beautiful that words were not enough. He didn’t know how time was passing, and he didn’t even know he was hungry even though he hadn’t eaten dinner.
On a night when the world was filled with Seo Jeongwon, the warmth of a long time stayed in the small room.
