The time Hunternet lost the most people was from when they bashed I—21 to kill him~ to right after Lim Sunyul’s identity was revealed.

I also stopped visiting for a bit back then, though I eventually came back to get information lol. But seeing the very bastards who were throwing fits saying he was a guy who deserved to die suddenly shouting ‘God Sunyul’ and making it a festive mood right after Sunyul’s identity was revealed gave me such a reality check that, fuck, I quit.

There must have been a lot of people like me.

Personally, it was an occasion that made me think about humanity in many ways. Since then, I reduced my community usage and read a lot of books.

The one who answered that way was Yoonjae. Yoonjae had the face that looked the most delighted among the four of them.

“I was actually gathering weaknesses to chase that bastard of a KAEA Director out anyway.”

“Y-You were?”

“I exposed them all together this time. With all sorts of scandals and corruption bursting out, he won’t be able to make a comeback.”

Yoonjae smiled brightly.

“I didn’t like him anyway, and then he dared to touch you. He needs to be killed….”

Yoonjae muttered gloomily. Because it sounded so savage, as if he might really kill him, Sunyul hurriedly stopped Yoonjae.

After chatting for a long time and everyone had dispersed, Sunyul took the remaining cake and went to find the Guild Leader’s room.

“Guild Leader, please have some cake.”

“…What cake?”

Suddenly struck by a bolt out of the blue, Muyoung looked at the large box.

“Dakyung, Yoonjae, Bada, and Jihyun unnie gave it to me. Um, they said it’s a congratulatory cake for the KAEA research director and the KAEA Director quitting.”

It was a bit awkward to say. A congratulatory cake for someone else’s misfortune.

However, those words made Muyoung willingly want to eat the cake. If it was a commemorative cake for chasing those two out, it was fully worth eating deliciously.

“It’s not brand new, but it’s clean since it was cut with a knife.”

“Okay. I’ll enjoy it.”

Muyoung received a small piece that had ‘ha’ written on it after everything was shared. Sunyul apologized saying it was too small a piece, but Muyoung told him it was genuinely fine.

It had been worth the effort of tracking down a researcher who felt guilty toward Sunyul back then and was in a difficult situation, and hooking them by giving them a large sum of money.

Muyoung had painstakingly persuaded them, and the researcher, moved by it, willingly stepped forward to blow the whistle.

He had been looking for the right time to blow it, and although he didn’t know it would blow at this exact timing, it resulted in the optimal choice.

Since that researcher was branded as a whistleblower, it would be hard for them to live as a researcher domestically. However, with the massive sum of money Muyoung gave, they could just settle down abroad or do other work. What happened after that was for them to figure out, so it was none of Muyoung’s business.
