by mimiSeowon glanced back at Junghoo.
Going so far as to write up a contract to stay by his side, coming all the way to the vacation house to smell his pheromones and release his own. Could Junghoo possibly not know that all of this was meant to tell him not to push me away?
“Your pheromones aren’t threatening to me. They’re not dangerous, and they will never harm me. If you can believe that…”
Seowon lay down flat on his back on the rock.
“Trust me and enjoy this moment.”
Because I’m going to enjoy it to the fullest, too.
Junghoo stared at Seowon with his mouth agape, then muttered blankly.
“I should have kissed you while you were sleeping.”
At Junghoo’s question, which sounded like he was asking if he could do it now, Seowon closed his eyes instead of answering. Even with his eyes closed, it was bright, but then the sunlight was blocked as if by a shadow.
Sensing Junghoo’s very slow approach, Seowon kept his eyes closed and only opened his mouth.
“Let’s do it later.”
“Are you doing this on purpose to make me antsy?”
“Of course not. Why would I make you antsy.”
“Really? Then why am I so suspicious?”
“My Junghoo is so deep. To the point where you doubt someone by digging and digging and digging some more.”
Seowon traced patterns on Junghoo’s chest as if drawing a picture. At the ticklish touch, the crease between Junghoo’s brows deepened.
“I don’t know when I’ll eat your lips, so wipe them well and wait.”
“Is just wiping my lips enough?”
“It’d be good if you scrub between your legs, too.”
“I’ll keep myself neat and tidy.”
As Seowon and Junghoo laughingly engaged in a tense battle of wills, Yoo Taeha, who had been watching secretly, shook his head.
“Have you two decided to act like perverts?”
It seems like they have a tacit agreement, but if they do that elsewhere, it’ll be a real disaster.
With a sigh, Yoo Taeha jumped back into the valley stream.
Seowon, after coming out from his shower, subconsciously looked for Junghoo first. Just then, he met the eyes of Yoo Taeha, who was coming down from the upper floor, and Seowon immediately asked him.
“Where’s Junghoo?”
“Isn’t he still showering?”
Yoo Taeha, who seemed to have just come down himself, looked around to find Junghoo.
“Hmm… Then I guess I’ll have to wait.”
Seowon sat on the sofa and ruffled his hair with a towel. A moment ago, he had just looked for Junghoo without thinking, but now he could faintly hear the sound of water.
“Seowon.”
Yoo Taeha sat across from Seowon with eyes full of things to say. Watching the water droplets falling onto Seowon’s shoulder and creating marks, Yoo Taeha hesitated for a moment, as if unsure whether he should speak.
“Were you doing that on purpose to Junghoo earlier?”
“The kiss talk? Yes. He keeps trying to run away from me, so I thought it would be better to clash, whether it’s a fight or something else.”
Fortunately, Junghoo didn’t just avoid it. He thought that if he approached him like that, they might make progress somehow.
“Call me when you need me. Oh, my uncle is here.”
“Really? Where is he?”
“He said he’ll be at a nearby hotel.”
Yoo Taeha must have told him they were at the vacation house, so Seowon nodded as if it were no big deal. Thanks to that, water droplets splattered not just on his shoulder but all over the place.
Seowon toweled his hair again, listening intently for the bathroom where Junghoo would be.
“If you change your mind, even now, tell me anytime. Then I’ll…”
Thud.
At the sound from the bathroom, Seowon shot up from his seat and ran. Seowon opened the door to check inside, and Yoo Taeha, who had stood up to follow, staggered back from the intensely wafting pheromones.
“The pheromones…”
They were stronger than at any other time he had smelled them.
“Ugh.”
Yoo Taeha covered his mouth and dry heaved. It was beyond the point of being repulsive to a fellow alpha; it was to the extent that he couldn’t breathe. His legs gave out, and Yoo Taeha, with one knee finally buckling, looked at Seowon in alarm.
Seowon stood in the doorway, looking at Junghoo through the steam and pheromones. The loud noise just now was the sound of the shower head falling. It would have been a relief if that were all, but Junghoo’s condition at the moment was not good at all.
Junghoo, with a hand against the wall, barely supported his trembling body and couldn’t lift his head. As if he had fainted with his eyes closed, he stood without a single movement, then slowly raised his head.
Junghoo, with his eyes half-open, moved his lips. It looked like he wanted to say something, but only the sound of air came out of his mouth.
Taking his hand off the wall that had been supporting him, he reached toward Seowon, and his body crumbled, falling forward. It wasn’t as loud as when the shower head fell, but at the heavy vibration that shook the floor, Seowon revealed an ambiguous look in his eyes.
“Did I time this well.”
He collapsed after coming to the vacation house, so I should be thankful, right? The shower head that had fallen on the floor sprayed water here and there before being pinned down by Junghoo’s body. It was a complete coincidence that the water was spraying between Junghoo’s legs.
Seowon, who had been watching it all, spoke to Yoo Taeha before approaching Junghoo.
“My mind hasn’t changed.”
I thought he would last a little longer, but the time just came earlier than expected.
“The time to devour him has come.”
Sooner than I thought.
