Yejun studied Junhyuk’s mood. But unexpectedly, Junhyuk readily respected Yejun’s decision.

“Okay, I’ll actively support your decision. Yejun, do whatever you want.”

    “Uh… thank you.”

Junhyuk gazed at Yejun, lost in thought.

He’s this beautiful in my eyes… He must look just as beautiful to others, right?

Junhyuk had very cleanly given his permission for the commercial appearance, but he couldn’t help the knot twisting in his stomach. Yejun clapped his hands loudly in front of Junhyuk, who was staring blankly at him.

    “What are you doing?”

    “Ah, it’s nothing.”

    “Why? Are you worried?”

    “No.”

Even though Junhyuk said no to his question, he couldn’t help but have a lot on his mind.

Besides the duty-free shop, Yejun selected only a few of the commercials that were pouring in. Today’s shoot was for a car commercial, and the concept for this one was an interview format. He sat in the driver’s seat of the car, driving through a place with beautiful scenery while answering the interviewer’s questions, and also sat on a bench and talked with the car parked in the background.

“After you halted your activities, what was the reason you settled in Spain?”

“It was because of the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. At the time, I was very mentally exhausted.”

The story of halting his activities flowed without being too dark. In a friendly atmosphere, the interviewer asked about Yejun’s journey to becoming a writer.

“I know you even attended university in Barcelona. What did you study at university?”

“I majored in film studies. While doing so, I naturally became interested in movie screenplays.”

With sparkling eyes, Yejun shared his thoughts on movie screenplays. At that, the camera zoomed in tightly on Yejun’s refreshingly radiant face. The staff members there covered their mouths, letting out silent cheers at Yejun’s beautiful appearance.

“Lastly, is there someone you love right now?”

    “…Yes, there is.”

As Yejun answered slowly, his pale cheeks flushed a peach color. The interviewer made a surprised expression and then asked a question that wasn’t in the script.

“What kind of person are they?”

“He’s an affectionate yet firm person.”

“Ah… I don’t know who he is, but I’m truly envious of the person who has a boyfriend like you, Mr. Yejun.”

The interviewer let out a sigh filled with envy.

As the interview was nearing its end, Wooju appeared on the set. As soon as Yejun returned the microphone he was wearing to a staff member, he approached Wooju.

    “Did the shoot go well?”

“I’m not sure. But everyone was so kind to me, so I think it went smoothly.”

“Then it must have gone well.”

The staff members, who were cleaning up the set, spoke warmly as they watched Wooju and Yejun standing side by side.

“Your members from your childhood are really the best.”

“I know, right? To think he came all the way to the set just because he’s a fellow member.”

At that, Yejun smiled brightly and replied.

“My team members really are the best.”

“It’s all thanks to you doing well, Yejun.”

Wooju also added with a gentle smile.

“You don’t have a manager yet, do you?”

“Ah… I can just call the head of security.”

“Get in. I’ll give you a ride this time.”

    “Thank you.”

Wooju had no schedule today. He had driven himself all the way to Yejun’s regional filming location.

“We’re leaving, so buckle your seatbelt.”

    “Already did.”

Yejun retorted with a fresh smile. Wooju was relieved to see the much brighter Yejun.

    “It’s about something else.”

    “Yes.”

“From now on, even if you do activities from time to time, wouldn’t it be better to do it through an agency?”

“Do you think I’ll be that active?”

“These days, most famous writers also work while being signed to entertainment agencies.”

    “I see.”

Seeing Yejun’s conflicted look, Wooju tapped the steering wheel with his index finger and then spoke cautiously.

“Actually, TJ Entertainment asked me to connect them with you.”

    “Your agency, hyung?”

    “That’s right.”

“I’ll have to think about it…”

“Aish, I’ll just tell you the truth.”

Yejun’s eyes went wide as he looked at Wooju. Wooju saw the traffic light turn red and slowly stopped the car.

“Executive Director Cha Junhyuk is a major shareholder of TJ Entertainment. So, according to Cha Junhyuk, you’re too naive to start working in the entertainment industry in earnest. So he thought you needed a company to back you up, and based on that opinion, he contacted me. To persuade you.”

    “Ah…”

Yejun, looking forward again, said nothing for a moment as if in thought. Wooju didn’t add another word, simply waiting for Yejun’s decision.

“I’ll stop by TJ Entertainment within a few days.”

    “Good, that’s a good thought.”

    “Thank you again for this.”

“Of course. The other members are all scheduled to come back to Korea soon, too. Let’s all get together then.”

    “Sounds good.”

On the way up to Seoul, they chatted about this and that, laughing and talking.

“Yejun, have you ever thought about trying something other than being a writer?”

    “I’m not sure yet.”

“You were our team’s visual member, you know.”

    “Ah, no I wasn’t.”

    “How about trying acting?”

    “Me, an actor?”

Yejun had never imagined he could stand before the public in earnest again. His heart began to pound with an unidentifiable excitement.

    …☂︎ …

Junhyuk felt a heavy sense of debt towards Yejun. It was because Yejun had given up the work he loved so much because of him and his father. Moreover, he couldn’t hide his complex feelings seeing Yejun, who had become noticeably brighter after meeting Wooju.

    “Did something good happen today?”

    “Yeah.”

Junhyuk asked as he pulled Yejun, who was wrapping his arms around his waist, into an embrace.

    “What is it?”

    “Thank you.”

Junhyuk just let out a small laugh at Yejun’s non-sequitur answer. He caressed Yejun’s white cheek and continued.

“From now on, let’s not hide, and let’s do everything you want to do.”

    “Okay, I will.”

Yejun was gradually regaining his vitality. If he were being honest with himself, he wanted to lock him up at home and have him all to himself.

    “But.”

    “But, what?”

Yejun buried his face in Junhyuk’s chest and took a deep breath.

“You have to look only at me.”

    “…”

“Hey, Lee Yejun! Are you not going to answer?”

“Why are you stating the obvious as if it’s something new?”

Yejun pushed Junhyuk’s chest with both hands, making him sit on the sofa.

    “Wh-what are you doing?”

“Just wait, I’ll make you feel good.”

Junhyuk took in the sight of Yejun unzipping his pants and laughed out loud as if in disbelief. He whispered softly in Yejun’s ear.

    “Do it completely naked.”

    “Ah…”

Yejun looked up at Junhyuk, seeming to hesitate for a moment. As if having made a big decision, he clenched both his fists and stood before Junhyuk. Then he slowly began to take off his clothes. Junhyuk grabbed Yejun’s wrist, pulled him close, held him tightly in his arms, and whispered in his ear in an affectionate voice.

    “I love you.”

    “I love you too.”

Yejun also confessed his love in a soft voice. Junhyuk and Yejun held each other, faced one another, and smiled brightly.
