I was told there would be a reception, but the time was unclear, so I was up at the crack of dawn, showered, dressed and ready to go.

It was a tight schedule, but as my body prepared to take the field, it was as if it had already internalized the routine.

The sun was shining down on my window, and the phone rang in my dingy hotel room. I got up from my perch and answered it. It was the office that organizes the caddies’ schedules, and they wanted me to come down and get ready for my appointment.

    – You’ll have an apprentice with you today, and I’ve told them a few times to keep you out of the way of the clients, but keep him under control just in case.

    “Yes, sir.”

I put down the receiver and headed out of the hotel and toward the golf course. I stopped at the front desk to get CEO Jang’s locker room key.

“CEO Jang’s key, reserved for 1:00, please.”

“Sure, let me check your card.”

I handed him my employee card, and soon he handed me the key with the card. I walked into the locker room and grabbed my golf bag when I heard a woman’s voice.

    “Hi.”

Very few people spoke to me here. At most, there was a guy, Lee Jinseok, so I assumed they were talking amongst themselves and continued with my work. As I slung my golf bag over my shoulder and closed the locker door, I saw a woman looking up at me from the other side of the door. She looked quite familiar. Suddenly, she bends down to me.

“I’ve never met you before, I’m Lee Hyewon.”

She offered me a drink. I held out my palm and declined.

    “No thanks.”

She rolled her eyes and pulled the drink back, then shoved the bottle in her pocket and followed me with a golf bag the size of her body.

At a table set up on one side of the golf course lounge, CEO Jang, a man who made me feel sick just by looking at him, was with someone I had never seen before. And next to them, their caddy, whom I had only seen a few times while passing by, was waiting with a golf bag on her back.

“Hello, nice to meet you, I’m apprentice Lee Hyewon.”

The woman who came with me was the first to bow and say hello. It was quite a bow. My voice, which seemed insensitive by comparison, followed.

    “Good afternoon.”

The man I didn’t recognize greeted the woman and me, raising and lowering one hand lightly.

    “Uh, yeah. Welcome.”

He was President Kim, according to the card that organized the VIP guests. Like CEO Jang, I couldn’t get his exact name. CEO Jang flicked the long candle he was smoking into the ashtray. He blew white smoke out of his nose and mouth and stared at me. His eyes were sharp as usual.

I quickly gathered my gear and moved away. With his feet firmly planted on the green grass and the driver in his hand, CEO Jang’s performance was outstanding. He was particularly strong off the tee, where back and thigh strength are crucial, and once he had the driver in his hands, he didn’t need any coaching.

There wasn’t much I had to do on the field, just follow him around and play a supportive role.

    “Seven.”

At the second shot, CEO Jang reached for his 7-iron. He quickly pulled it out of his golf bag and handed it to him. CEO Jang stood with the club firmly in his hand, his cotton pants pulled taut, revealing his toned thighs.

Bang, the ball flew in a cool trajectory, landing sharply in the right place. Nice, a hoarse voice sounded out.

“CEO Jang is in good shape today.”

Mr. Kim was next on the green and turned to his caddie.

“Now, what do you think I should do here?”

“The terrain here has a slope….”

“What’s the slope? I’m not sure.”

The caddie held out her arm and explained. Instead of looking in the direction of the Caddie’s outstretched arm, Mr. Kim scanned her body. His eyes were strange. He peered through his narrow glasses at key areas, then pretended not to, and put his hand on the caddie’s waist.

“Now, if you look at it from this angle….”

“So, this is how it’s supposed to look, but you have a really thin waist.”

The caddie continued coaching nonchalantly, as if this had happened many times before. It was the apprentice who was flustered. The apprentice stood back, made eye contact with me, and then looked down in surprise.

“Ms. Hyewon, can I have your putter?”

Lee Hyewon, her spirits high, quickly selected a putter from her golf bag and handed it to Mr. Kim with both hands. No, offered was the right word.

    “Here you go.”

    “Yeah, thanks.”

Mr. Kim patted the apprentice on the shoulder. The apprentice’s body stiffened.

    “Oh, no offense, I’m sorry.”

Mr. Kim held out both palms like a surrendered man.

“I’m just saying, you’re like my child.”

Who would grope their own child’s body? He stood still and then opened his mouth.

    “Ms. Lee Hyewon.”

Lee Hyewon turned toward me with a tense face. I said in an emotionless tone.

“Could you please prepare some drinks for the customers?”

    “…Oh, yes, of course!”

The apprentice stumbled away. Mr. Kim followed the apprentice’s back with his eyes, admiring her.

“You can run for Miss Korea. You’ve got good looks, good looks.”

He was a sly fox. The back of my hand was covered with goosebumps. He was creepy in a different way than CEO Jang’s snake eyes. If CEO Jang’s eyes were eerie, Mr. Kim’s were creepy. I felt like there were two dozen footless slugs crawling around inside my clothes.

A cell phone buzzed in my golf bag. It was CEO Jang’s. I quietly called him.

    “CEO Jang.”

CEO Jang looked back at me. I held the phone out in front of him.

    “You have an incoming call.”

His long, slit eyes turned to the phone screen. The name “Oh Sang-chul” was stamped on the phone.

“Should I tell  him to call back later?”

After reading the caller ID on the screen, CEO Jang extended his hand to me.

    “No, I’ll take it.”

CEO Jang took the phone and turned to Mr. Kim.

“Mr. Kim, would you excuse me for a moment?”

    “Sure, whatever.”

Mr. Kim didn’t mind and held out his hand. CEO Jang removed his golf glove, slid his thumb across the phone’s screen, and moved to a seat a few feet away from where he was standing.

    “Go ahead.”

There was a pause, and I took advantage of it to pull my clubs out of my golf bag one by one, wiping them down and rearranging them. The stares kept sticking to my face. I consciously tried to ignore it, but I couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable. Mr. Kim looked at me and muttered.

“I didn’t know CEO Jang had a hobby for sodomy.”

Mr. Kim chuckled, baring his gold teeth.

“Well, you do have a nice a*s.”

    “…….”

“And your skin looks deliciously thin.”

Mr. Kim actually swallowed hard. Just as I was pretending I hadn’t heard anything, CEO Jang appeared.

Unfazed, I continued to polish my clubs and slung my golf bag over my shoulder.

The match ended in a one-sided victory for CEO Jang. Mr. Kim invited him to join him for a celebratory drink. CEO Jang declined, saying he had a prior commitment. Mr. Kim clicked his tongue and said, “Well, I guess I’ll have to drink alone tonight,” and hugged his caddie around the waist. He had a ring on his fourth finger, just like CEO Jang’s, which meant he had a family, just like the other customers.

    ***

I was stowing away my golf bag in the locker room when the man standing at the front desk ordered me.

    “Follow me.”

Without a word, I followed CEO Jang. The man’s footsteps were heading toward the front of the hotel. Expecting to go to the penthouse, he headed to the hotel’s restaurant on the first floor. After recognizing his face, the restaurant staff asked for a headcount.

    “Two people.”

The staff showed them to their seats. CEO Jang took one seat and sat down, while I stood like a stone in front of him. As I stood there, CEO Jang gestured to the seat in front of me.

    “What are you doing?”

    I stammered out an excuse.

“…You said you had a prior engagement.”

“You want to pretend to be naive?”

Pretending to be naïve about a subject that is so close to my heart. He said it without a filter, even though there were people around to hear. I quietly pulled out a chair and sat down in front of him. Hesitantly was a more accurate word.

Soon the food was served. There was wild seafood in front of me, but I couldn’t help myself. He didn’t seem to care if I ate it or not, and cleared it away.

    “CEO Jang!”

A high-pitched voice called out. The voice belonged to Park Jinkyung. The woman approached with a pleased look on her face and the click-clack of her heels.

“Are you eating with your baby?”

CEO Jang asked in his usual casual tone.

    “How was the new one?”

    “It was great.”

Park Jinkyung’s gaze roamed over my body. Then, without warning, she reached for my neck. I shrank back, but her hand moved faster. She rubbed the back of her hand across my neck and smiled conspiratorially, as if she had noticed something. A word that sounded like a sigh escaped her red lips.

    “Your neck.”

The woman’s hand brushed behind my ear. I twitched my ear, and she giggled in amusement. CEO Jang’s eyes were glued to my ear and neck where the woman’s hand was touching. His eyes were still, as if something was bothering him. The woman whispered softly.

“CEO Jang, there are a lot of eyes here.”

I quickly raised my hand to cover my obvious neck. From my neck to behind his ears, CEO Jang’s bite marks were clear.

CEO Jang pretended not to hear, tilted his wine glass and quenched his thirst. His neck rumbled loudly with a grunt. The woman shrugged and turned away.

“Enjoy your meal, and I’ll be off.”

And with that, she left. I stared meaninglessly at the plates on the table. I felt naked, as if my flesh had been stripped away, revealing the bare flesh beneath my skin. I felt like everyone in the restaurant was looking at me and talking about me.

Then I heard CEO Jang’s voice in my ear.

“Are you acting like such a slut because you want to have a threesome?”

I lifted my head slowly. At the end of my gaze was CEO Jang, expressionless. I acted like a slut? When? All I did was tolerate the unpleasantness. Even if she touched my neck and ears, or groped my groin, there was nothing I could do. She was Group K’s young wife, and from what I heard, she was also CEO Jang’s business partner. The man continued in a dry tone.

“I heard that she herself has a taste for fucking.”

    “…….”

She has a taste for fucking. Lee Jinseok’s face suddenly flashed before my eyes. I met CEO Jang’s distant eyes, then looked down.

“Do you know what that means?”

    “…….”

“I asked you if you know what that means.”

    “…No, I don’t.”

CEO Jang clicked his tongue. Sourly chastising me for my stupidity, he lifted my chin with his knife, forcing me to make eye contact with him. His voice was nasty.

“I’m telling you, both dicks go in your hole.”

The customers at the next table glared at him. CEO Jang warned me in a fairly high-pressure manner, using a rather elegant way of speaking.

“In the future, don’t cover up your marks.”

    “…….”

“Covering it up won’t make you look less worn and tattered, Mr. Seo Suwon.”

The more I think about it, the more disgusting it is, CEO Jang added. I suddenly realized. This is why Park Jinkyung was so uncomfortable when she touched my neck and ears. I bowed low.

    “…I’m sorry.”

CEO Jang didn’t seem to hear my apology. He continued to eat in front of me, who had completely lost my appetite. I held the rib in my ringed hand and ate it. With a bang, CEO Jang dropped the rib bone onto hes plate. He wiped my mouth and hands with his napkin.

My gaze dropped to his plate. The thick meat clinging to the bone was long gone. I gulped and swallowed dryly at the sight of the deformed bone. I guess that’s what you get for not being able to keep track of bones, I thought. Like that lip, the marks where CEO Jang had bitten and chewed suddenly became bitter. Suddenly, I wondered if my life would end up like that undercooked meat, chewed up and eaten by CEO Jang.

    “…….”

    “…….”

CEO Jang lifted my wine glass, replacing the one he had already emptied. He propped it up with a seemingly dignified hand and quenched his thirst with the water inside. The gulping sound rang out again.

The music that had been playing softly in the restaurant quickly receded. The sound of CEO Jang clearing his throat filled the void. Gulp. I clenched my hands on my thighs. My ears ached, and I wanted to raise ,y hands and slam them into my cochlea at once.

He slowly placed the wine glass on the table. Then he asked me a question.

    “Have you finished?”

I hadn’t. I hadn’t even touched the spoon on the table, and CEO Jang knew it. He was asking me bluntly. Are you ready?

I sat as still as a gravestone, and then I opened my mouth. Words fwll from my lips like stone crumbs.

    “…Yes.”

Without hesitation, CEO Jang pushed himself out of his seat and stood up. He shuffled over to the front desk and paid. I slowly rose from my seat and followed him.

    ***

There were quite a few people in the elevator besides CEO Jang and me, making the spacious elevator feel cramped. I was forced to stand close to CEO Jang, my left shoulder against the mirror and my right shoulder against his arm, frozen like ice. I was like a rat in poison.

CEO Jang, his presence was unique, even when mixed with other people. It was so physical that it felt uncanny.

    “…….”

    “…….”

For a moment, I wished that the only place he stood on his feet was in a very deep hole. For a moment, my vision went black. Like the ground was actually going out from under me. I stepped to the side to get away from where he was.

I could feel CEO Jang glancing in my direction. I stiffened my spine again, as if I’d just made a move.

Ding. The elevator doors opened and a few people got off. The doors opened, people got off, and the cycle repeated a few more times. Soon, there were plenty of space. But CEO Jang didn’t think to move out of the way.

There were now only four people left in the elevator.

I began to feel something hot and hard against my waist. I craned my neck back slightly to look into CEO Jang’s eyes. He was looking down at me with his usual expression. I slowly lowered my gaze. CEO Jang’s bulging cock was rubbing against my body.

My anxious eyes drifted to the other people. A young man and woman, apparently a married couple, seemed to pay little attention to us as they chatted amongst themselves. It was then that CEO Jang’s voice broke through the silence of the two happy voices.

    “You have a thin waist.”

His hushed voice created a small resonance in the elevator, and it made the couple, who were lost in their own world, glance over. An uneasy feeling crept into the back of my mind.

CEO Jang’s tone was so dry that if you weren’t looking at what he was doing with both eyes, you wouldn’t be able to detect any sexual intent. Plus, his groin was hidden behind my body at an angle that wouldn’t be visible to the couple, but I couldn’t help but feel my nerves tingle. I rolled my eyes and glanced at the elevator buttons. They lit up red for the 10th and 14th floors.

    “What is your waistline?”

…Waistline? Sensing something was amiss, the person glanced behind me. Or, more precisely, he glanced at my waist, which was dancing against CEO Jang’s body.

I whispered in an inaudible, muffled voice.

    “…I’m not sure.”

I squeezed my eyes shut, wishing he’d stop doing this.

Ding. The doors opened on the tenth floor, and the couple stepped out of the elevator, shaking their heads. If I could, I would jump out of this cramped elevator after them.

But alas, CEO Jang wouldn’t let me. Before the doors had even closed, CEO Jang grabbed my chest as if he’d been waiting for me, then groped it with his palm as if sizing me up. My body stiffened like a stone. CEO Jang asked me sullenly.

    “What?”

    “…….”

    “You don’t like it?”

    I quietly shook my head.

    “No.”

CEO Jang raised a manicured fingertip to tweak and squeeze my nipple, and a moan escaped my lips at the sensation of his touch through the thin fabric. CEO Jang murmured.

“This was definitely not erect before.”

    “…….”

“Nowadays, why is it standing up like this, like a slut.”

The nipple was crushed in CEO Jang’s hand. The tiny mounds of flesh were pitifully scratched and rubbed painfully.

CEO Jang tilted his face and buried his nose in my neck. He nuzzled my neck and behind my ears, unconcerned that I was covered in makeup.

This morning, wondering what to do with the marks on my neck and ears, I went to the convenience store and bought some makeup. I picked the lightest color and smeared it all over my neck and ears, which I had never done before. It smelled like cheap flowers that made my head spin just by smelling it, but I was satisfied that his bite marks were nowhere to be seen. Of course, I would never have worn makeup if I’d known Park Jinkyung would laugh at me.

CEO Jang nibbled on my ear, as if he was going to leave a new mark. The bite was so hard, I felt like it was about to be ripped out by the roots.

    “…Ugh.”

Ding. The elevator stopped. I tangled with CEO Jang and headed for the penthouse. CEO Jang led me to his penthouse, not to the room next door where he’d always bang me.

The door slammed behind the man’s back. Once we were in his space, CEO Jang pushed me harder and harder. He ripped my uniform off my upper body and buried his nose in my armpit. He pinched my small but pointed nipples between his fingers and twirled them gently, sniffing my body in a way that was almost disgusting.

    “…si, sir.”

I have little body hair, so I rarely smell like sweat, but I was still embarrassed. Unlike CEO Jang, who had just gotten out of the shower, I had missed my shower time to organize the man’s golf bag. He didn’t seem to mind and stuck his tongue out to lick my armpit. The creepy sensation made my inner thighs shiver. A feeling of needing to pee ran through my legs.

    “…S, sir.”

Calling out to him once more, I leaned back a little. He stepped back surprisingly easily. I spoke as if I was the guilty one.

“…I’ll wash up, wash up, and come out, if you’ll just wait a bit….”

CEO Jang’s cold voice pierced my ears.

“Why is Mr. Seo Suwon telling me what to do?”

    “…….”

“Are you sure you haven’t forgotten where you are?”

His icy gaze pierced my face as he slowly scanned my face and body. I trembled in fear, laid out like a piece of graded meat under his gaze. I had no idea how he would grade me. CEO Jang’s gaze quickly dropped from my body, and he turned on his heel and headed for the door. I stared at his back as he walked away, and then, with a gasp, I followed him. Then I hurriedly grabbed his arm.

    “CEO.”

He whipped around to face me, and looked down at his gripped arm. I flinched, as if scalded, and quickly pulled my hand away from his body.

    “…what now?”

CEO Jang brushed off his arm like he was dusting off a piece of dirt, his face showing no hint of displeasure.

    “I apologize.”

    “…….”

    “I was arrogant.”

CEO Jang stared at me, his face showing no sign of emotion.

“I know. I was just trying to make my face pretty.”

He leaned down to meet my gaze.

“Why are you being so fussy?”

    “…I’m sorry.”

    “Sorry?”

CEO Jang asked in a tone-deaf voice. I nodded and mumbled like a broken doll, sorry, sorry.

    “But what to do.”

    He straightened his slumped back.

    “I’ve already lost my appetite.”

…You’ve lost your appetite? My mind went blank for a moment.

All he had to do was get out of here and invite someone in with a wave of his hand. All he had to do was take off his pants, shove his dick in the guy’s hole, and wiggle it around. This guy was an asshole who didn’t care who he was up against. But I…. I wasn’t like that. I still needed him, needed his money desperately. I slid down his body, wrapped my arms around his thighs, encased in his suit pants, and pressed my cheek to the inside of his groin. His penis, already unappetizing, still stood at a vicious erection.

    His voice drifted overhead.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

    “Just once.”

I craned my neck back to look up at him, my back to the light.

    “Just one more chance.”

He leaned down and muttered devilishly at me.

    “Then give it a try.”
