“…Huuu, sniff.”

The glass shards scattered around his shoes dug into my knee. Blood spread out in a circle from the wound, but ironically, I felt a sense of relief. Tears kept flowing and dripped onto the warm bloodstain.

    “…Huh, haaah.”

Noticing my knee, CEO Kim clicked his tongue and picked up an apple and a paring knife from the table. He grabbed the knife and suddenly started peeling the apple. The peel curled off in a spiral.

…This crazy guy. In this situation, he was peeling an apple, like he was preparing a snack.

    “CEO.”

He quickly finished peeling the apple, stripping away the red skin. Muttering to himself about how smooth it was, he casually tossed the peeled apple onto the floor. The pale flesh rolled away.

With the knife still in his hand, he leaned down toward me.

    “Why are you crying?”

…Why? After witnessing everything without blinking an eye, he still didn’t seem to understand.

    “Doesn’t matter, does it?”

    “……”

“You just get paid for offering your body, right?”

    “…No, that’s not it.”

He let out a dry, sarcastic laugh, the brittle smile fading from his face almost immediately.

“Every time, you say no, don’t do it, but…”

    “……”

“When someone thrusts into you, you roll your eyes in pleasure.”

He grabbed my hair, yanking my head back. I was forced to meet his eyes. The pain of my scalp being torn was excruciating. CEO Jang spoke in a low, sinister voice, without a pause.

    “I told you to behave.”

    “……”

“You couldn’t even wait a second before running into another man’s arms?”

He sneered in a tone devoid of emotion.

“Who told you to pour drinks like a bar hostess?”

CEO Jang’s sharp chin pointed toward the unconscious man.

    “…That guy?”

I followed his gaze to CEO Kim, then lowered my eyes. My scalp throbbed as he yanked harder, and the grinding of his teeth was audible.

    “Aren’t you going to answer?”

He asked, his voice eerie. He reached into CEO Kim’s chest pocket and pulled out a cigarette pack, putting one between his lips and running a hand through his hair.

“I asked, who told you to pour drinks while sitting on someone’s lap like a bar girl?”

    “…That, that guy.”

    “Mmh, that guy.”

CEO Jang muttered quietly and pushed me away. I lost my balance and rolled onto the floor. He tightened his grip on the knife he’d used to peel the apple and started walking toward the bed where CEO Kim lay.

Lying on the floor, I stared at his back. …What is he planning to do?

The sharp blade of the knife in CEO Jang’s hand glinted as it approached CEO Kim’s body. He slowly ran the blade along his thigh, as if searching for the right spot. The tip of the knife gleamed sinisterly, reflecting off the ring on his finger.

CEO Jang’s voice quietly sliced through the silence.

    “Suwon.”

    “Yes.”

“…No matter how much you like money, shouldn’t you have a little loyalty?”

My eyelids trembled. The knife still leisurely traced over CEO Kim’s unconscious body, as if CEO Jang was trying to find the perfect spot.

“Do you know why this bastard messed with you?”

    “…I don’t.”

“Recently, he’s been making some money, and it’s gone to his head. He’s been sharpening an axe behind my back, ready to use it on me.”

CEO Jang pressed the handle of the knife firmly against CEO Kim’s femoral artery. I watched with a pale face, paralyzed by fear. For a fleeting moment, I asked myself the question: would he really stab him?

I recalled the day I voluntarily walked into his trap. The day when CEO Jang, without changing his expression, pushed someone out of a window. There had been no particular reason for that brutal act—just because it was a nuisance.

Staring blankly at him, I braced my hands on the floor and crawled toward him like a dog.

    “…CEO.”

“Why do you keep calling me?”

    “…I was wrong.”

Blood was pouring from my knee, pierced by glass shards. I approached him, bleeding as if I were a snail leaving a slimy trail. I stopped in front of him and reached out to Jang’s thigh.

    “…Don’t do it.”

CEO Jang asked in a cold voice. His overly dark eyes slowly scanned CEO Kim’s body, then shifted to me.

“Why? You thought it would be better if this bastard died too, didn’t you, Seo Suwon?”

CEO Jang thought the same. I always wished for his death—hoped he would die by being hit by a car, buried in a landslide while driving, or by falling into a sewer by bad luck. Similarly, I also wished for CEO Kim’s death. But not like this.

I reached out to his thigh, wrapped in jet-black suit pants. With trembling hands, I clung to his firm, muscular thigh and buried my face into it.

    “CEO, please, don’t.”

CEO Jang looked down at me with a blank expression. His face was unreadable, always making me shiver and instinctively curl up in fear when I looked at him.

I looked up at him and, with clumsy fingers, tried to undo CEO Jang’s belt. My hands kept missing their mark, struggling to unfasten the belt’s hook. CEO Jang quietly laughed as he watched my desperate attempts.

A deep smile spread across his lips.

“You say no, don’t do it, that it’s not right, and yet…”

    “…….”

“Why are you reaching for my c*ck?”

He stroked my cheek. His touch was cold and rough. But I pressed my cheek against his hand as if it were a lifeline sent from heaven. CEO Jang pulled my face toward him, his voice so low and chilling it pierced my ear.

“In the end, you were just pretending, right? So you wouldn’t seem like a whore.”

    “…Yes, yes.”

“You’re just a rag dying to get my c*ck, right, Seo Suwon?”

    “…Yes, that’s right.”

Nodding my head with vacant eyes.

CEO Jang’s swollen erection pressed against both my cheek and nose. The familiar scent unique to him brushed past my nostrils. Familiarity. It was a sensation that had already invaded deep into my skin without me even realizing it.

    …It was truly despairing.

Suddenly, CEO Kim’s massive body jerked up from the mattress. With terrified eyes, he stared at the bed. Groaning in agony, he writhed until he finally flipped over. The force of his massive body crashing down caused the mattress to heave violently, like a sea struck by a tidal wave.

CEO Kim clutched his head and let out grotesque moans.

Startled, I tightened my grip on CEO Jang’s thigh. CEO Kim gasped for air, twisting his body in strange ways before finally collapsing with a groan.

The room reeked of blood. But the source wasn’t my knee—it was the bed. A large amount of blood had already flowed from CEO Kim’s head, staining the sheets bright red.

A man lay on the bed, his head drenched in blood. For a moment, I shuddered, struck by a haunting sense of déjà vu. I grabbed CEO Jang’s shoulder and whispered in a small voice.

“…We need to take him to the hospital.”

    CEO Jang chuckled quietly.

    “Are you insane?”

    “…He might die.”

The words caught in my throat, so I pressed my lips together before continuing.

    “He might die.”

Death. The word I had just uttered made me freeze. Shivering, I wrapped my arms around my body. From behind me, I heard the man’s cold voice.

    “He’s just passed out.”

Slowly, I turned my head and met CEO Jang’s eyes, shadowed by darkness. Even with a man bleeding heavily before him, he showed no sign of disturbance. It was as if he wouldn’t care even if CEO Kim actually died.

Suddenly, I was scared of him. I unconsciously took a step back from him. But CEO Jang didn’t let me go. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back toward him.

I had escaped from CEO Kim, who had tried to assault me, only to end up beneath the legs of this enigmatic CEO Jang. It had been nearly two months since we started sleeping together. Yet, I still knew nothing about him. He remained a mystery. Of course, I had long since realized that he was far more dangerous than CEO Kim.

    “…….”

Thinking back, the situation was no different from the first time I crawled to him. The details had changed, but the pattern was the same. Even then, CEO Jang had effortlessly trapped me when I was at my most desperate. Like a spider silently waiting for its prey, I had been caught in his web, driven by the wind like an insect.

Suddenly, a creepy chill washed over me. Goosebumps formed all the way to the back of my hand, and I scratched them away with my short nails. CEO Jang wrapped his long, spider-like fingers around my cheek, pressing my face against his lower body. I stopped what I was doing and let him take control of my face. My hand, which had been scratching at my skin, fell limply to the floor.

The heat from his groin warmed my tear-cooled cheek.
