Saturday’s Master

Lee Seodan, a first-year regular employee at a major corporation, faces a dramatic risk of resignation—to the point of becoming the subject of endless office gossip due to a certain incident. Grasping at straws in desperate hope, he applies for a short-term TF (project team). The team leader of the TF extends an unexpected proposal to him, and Lee Seodan has no choice but to grab this opportunity—unable to tell whether it is a lifeline or a rotten rope…

Three months from winter to spring. A man he must face at the company on weekdays and at a hotel on weekends. While being helplessly swung around by a man who is terrifying, inscrutable, and repeatedly alternating between giving the sickness and the cure, Lee Seodan realizes at some point that the clearly drawn boundary is blurring, and things that cannot be explained by the obligations and rewards specified in their contract have begun to dwell in their relationship.

Quote: It was a relationship with an expiration date anyway, yet as if the line he had drawn was no longer there, it blurred before my eyes the entire time. Knowing it, I pretended not to know. Therefore, what returned to me was a natural price to pay for that clumsy greed.
