The virtual reality game “Blood Planet.”
Right now, I’ve somehow ended up partnered with a “Psychic” named “ShutUp” as his “Guide.” But… was it really a good idea to team up with this guy?
The moment I logged into the game today, ShutUp came running over. Before I could even say hello, he grabbed both of my cheeks, sucked on my lower lip until it went numb, and then did the same with the upper one. Between my tightly pressed lips, his damn tongue forced its way in.
“Hey, stop! Mmph!”
No matter how hard I slapped his back, the bastard didn’t budge.
Beep—
My Guide Gauge (GG) kept climbing, while his Psychic Gauge (PG) kept dropping.
In Blood Planet, the gauges were adjusted through physical contact between players in the game. When either the GG or PG reached full capacity, the player would enter “Faint Mode.” Psychics couldn’t log in for about three days, and Guides for about one.
Of course, there were paid items that could cancel Faint Mode—but they were expensive. Maybe because of the level difference between ShutUp and me, our gauges filled and dropped at completely different speeds.
When his PG dropped from 90% to around 60%, my GG shot up from 0% to over 80% in an instant. Beep— The warning tone blared as the screen edges flashed red, signaling danger.
My gauge was about to hit the limit. I hit his back again, more urgently this time, but the bastard didn’t let go—intent on filling my GG completely.
Our lips were locked so tightly it felt like he was drinking up all my breath. His tongue twisted around mine one last time before he finally pulled away with a wet pop. I gasped for air and checked—my GG was barely at 1%.
“…Hey, you selfish bastard! What the hell! My GG’s about to—ha, I—I’m gonna faint. Damn it…”
“Oh, really?”
Then, ShutUp leaned down, cupped my face again as I struggled to catch my breath, and pressed a light kiss to my lips.
“See you.”
<<‘GentleTouch’ has reached maximum GG. Entering Faint Mode. Recharge time: approximately 23 hours.>>
The screen changed, returning me to the character selection screen.
“Ah!! You!! Bastard!!”
ShutUp was getting revenge on me.
I never should’ve played this game.
