Jiang Ye stared at him with cold eyes, but he only grinned more gleefully, lowering his head to kiss Jiang Ye’s lips. Jiang Ye desperately tried to dodge, throwing a punch to hit him. He tilted his head to avoid it, clamped both of Jiang Ye’s hands in a death grip, and pulled a stocking from his trouser pocket to tie Jiang Ye’s hands together. Jiang Ye was pinned against the wall like a butterfly nailed to a board. Bai Nianci’s room was right next door, and the faint sound of voices drifted over. The soundproofing in this room was terrible; the slightest noise seemed to ring right in his ear.

“Careful, don’t let them hear,” Jin Feize whispered, kissing his earlobe.

“Stay. Away. From. Me,” Jiang Ye said, enunciating each word.

Jin Feize turned a deaf ear.

“Jiang Ye, you didn’t keep your promise. You didn’t reply to my texts, you didn’t return my calls, you ran away in secret, you changed your SIM card. I’m very angry. I’m going to punish you.”

“How are you going to punish me?” Jiang Ye sneered.

    “Dismember me? You psycho.”

Jin Feize took a small, rubbery object from his pocket. Jiang Ye stared at it, frowning slightly. It was teardrop-shaped, perfectly smooth, small and exquisite.

“It has a GPS tracker inside. No matter where you are, I can find you. Don’t even think about destroying it. The moment I lose your location, my phone will automatically sound an alarm.”

Jiang Ye, his face devoid of expression, asked, “Aren’t you afraid I’ll just throw it away?”

“You won’t be able to,” Jin Feize whispered in his ear, “because I want you to swallow it.”

Swallow it? Something this big, wouldn’t he choke to death? What was Jin Feize playing at? A chill ran down Jiang Ye’s spine as he looked at him in disbelief.

Jin Feize dragged Jiang Ye towards the bed. Jiang Ye tried to attack him, but he deflected the force sideways, causing every one of Jiang Ye’s punches to miss its mark. He pushed against Jiang Ye’s arm, and Jiang Ye tumbled onto the bed. The guy seemed to have trained in Tai Chi; Jiang Ye was no match for him at all. He forced Jiang Ye to lie face down on the bed, pulled out a shoelace, and tied his hands to the headboard.

“Let me go,” Jiang Ye seethed through clenched teeth.

“Do you think I won’t call for help?!”

“Of course you can call,” Jin Feize said with a gentle smile.

“If you want people to see you like this.”

In a few swift movements, he undid Jiang Ye’s belt and yanked his pants all the way down, exposing Jiang Ye’s rear completely to the air. There was a full-length mirror by the bed, reflecting the strip of Jiang Ye’s pale, narrow waist and his buttocks. He was a youth who had just come of age, his waist slender and taut, his muscles lean—like a stern, straight bamboo, upright and strong, yet easily broken. The cold air on his legs made Jiang Ye shudder violently.

He was both ashamed and furious, trembling with rage.

Jiang Ruochu had raised him as a single parent for a long time, so he had learned to be independent from an early age. He had been bathing and dressing himself since he was five and had never been naked in front of anyone. The last time on the cargo ship, although he had been humiliated, he had been unconscious, with no memory of it at all. This was the first time he was completely exposed to another’s gaze while fully conscious.

Jiang Ye began to compromise, trying to placate Jin Feize.

“I promise, I’ll keep my promise next time.”

    “Nope,” Jin Feize said impartially.

“I said I’d punish you, so I must.”

Then, Jin Feize opened a bottle of hand cream and began to massage his acupoint. The strong scent of cherry blossoms hit Jiang Ye, and he keenly realized what Jin Feize was about to do. A fire of shame and fury burned through his entire body. Not only his face and neck, but his whole body flushed red. He was too sensitive, trembling at the slightest touch. The people in the “study materials” were either greasy-faced or flabby-muscled, not even remotely comparable to Jiang Ye. Jin Feize had initially found that sort of thing boring, but now, it seemed that doing it with Jiang Ye might not be so bad.

He caressed Jiang Ye’s waist as if playing with a priceless piece of porcelain. An unnamed flame ignited in his lower abdomen; this seemed to be the thing called desire. The feeling was foreign, but he found it novel.

    “Little Ye, you’re so beautiful.”

Jin Feize’s movements were gentle. The mirror reflected his focused expression, the golden lamplight spilling over the corners of his eyes, creating an incredibly tender and delicate image. Jiang Ye’s face was already completely red. He struggled forcefully, but Jin Feize held his waist down, preventing him from moving. It was unclear if Jin Feize had practiced with those bizarre study materials of his, but while his massage technique was clumsy, it was surprisingly pleasant.

Jiang Ye gasped instinctively. When he came to his senses, he bit down hard on his tongue. But even if he said nothing, his body’s reaction wouldn’t lie.

Jin Feize sighed softly, “You’re so sensitive.”

Jiang Ye’s face immediately felt like it was on fire, hot enough to cook an egg.

“Jin Feize,” Jiang Ye used anger to mask his feelings, “you’re a lunatic.”

Jin Feize’s hand suddenly pressed harder. Jiang Ye winced in pain and sucked in a sharp breath.

“What did you say?” Jin Feize smiled.

    Jiang Ye: “…”

Jin Feize lowered his head to study him.

“The things on the people in the materials were all so ugly. Yours is much better-looking than theirs.”

The man’s licentious words were even more mortifying than his actions. Jiang Ye’s voice was hoarse.

    “You bastard…”

“I’m complimenting you. Why are you still cursing me?” Jin Feize’s tone was innocent.

Jiang Ye endured the shame and pain, burying his face in the pillow.

“Don’t run away again. No matter where you run, I can find you.” Jin Feize kissed the dimples of his lower back, and another shiver ran through him.

“Be good. If you run again, it won’t be a tracker you’ll be swallowing.” He leaned in close to his ear and asked, “Will you still run?”

Jiang Ye bit his lip hard, saying nothing.

Jin Feize’s hand moved abruptly. Jiang Ye flinched and finally managed to rasp out, “…I won’t run anymore.”

    “You have to promise.”

“I promise,” Jiang Ye’s voice trembled.

Jin Feize smiled in satisfaction. He disinfected the tracker with alcohol, wiped it clean, and then carefully fed it to Jiang Ye. Trembling slightly like a leaf rustling in the autumn wind, Jiang Ye was forced to take the tracker in his mouth and swallow it, bit by bit. Jin Feize patted his back gently, as if soothing an injured cat. If it weren’t for his vile actions, he would have looked like a gentle lover.

“You look so uncomfortable,” Jin Feize asked softly.

    “Should I help you?”

Jiang Ye was completely powerless to resist, lying limp in his warm hands like a puddle of mud. After an unknown amount of time, when the ordeal was finally over, Jiang Ye was a mess, covered in filth. Jin Feize, however, was still impeccably dressed, not a hair out of place.

Feeling hot himself, Jin Feize loosened the collar of his sweater, turned Jiang Ye’s head, and kissed his searing lips.

The little cat was biting him again. He paid it no mind, kissing him even deeper amidst the taste of blood. His blood dripped onto Jiang Ye’s lips, leaving a trail as vivid as fire on his pale chin. This was Jin Feize’s first taste of desire, as sweet as blood.
